There were many posts of ideas for the april fools and now I noticed the "nerf" is obviously the fool!
Because nobody would destroy a class in this way it had to be a joke or something pretty similar.
But now as I recovered it as an April fool you can undo it :>

*Fixed an Identification

 

Fixed an Identification in a way that made it way worse and that Identification belongs to the water element meaning the water element was nerfed

 

They didn't technically make it worse, they balanced it. When a class can solo Qira, the toughest boss in Gavel, in 1 Minute 11 Seconds, something is up. When a class can solo Qira using a Depressing Item, an item that does 0-1 base damage, things need to be fixed. The old algorithm for Spell Damage was game breaking, hence they needed to fix it.

Also, the water element was indirectly 'nerfed'. Whilst it is common for Spell Damage to appear on Water Element gear, there was no change in the terms of damage you deal with the water element; simply some of the boons you get from it.

 

Pretty sure this isn't an April Fools joke...

If something is 'OP', it's usually looked at in a negative light. Something being 'Balanced' is usually looked at in a positive light.

Yes, they did technically make the water element worse at first glance. However, it was game breaking; they simply fixed what was wrong with it.

People need to be making elemental builds, fire/earth, air/thunder, WATER. Just stop whining and deal with it. Things get nerfed, we get used to it.
