    Exactly. It's actually water. (Or at least that's what I told myself while painting this.) I guess it's up to people's interpretations. Either way, glad you guys liked it.

    Perfectly calm water is not capable of reflecting anything in reality (unless you are talking about the phenomenon total reflectioning). Ice, however, is very good at reflectioning things. Also, it is snowing, which means there is a high chance of it being below 0* Celsius, making ice very plausible.
    That's how I reasoned ;D
