Third Wynniversary!


The making of Ragni! (Nov. 10, 2012)

Wynncraft is approaching it's third year since it's official release (March 27th) and players can not help but feel a sense of patriotism towards the server they've been dedicated to for so long. "Wynncraft has been here for a long time and is still growing to this day. It's fascinating to think about. This would only be my second year playing on the server but I'm sure its great seeing something that you have been there for sense the very beginning grow and develop. I have faith that as Wynncraft becomes older, the content and community will grow with it", @jjaayyddoonn tells our reporters. Owner, Grian, will not be able to be on the server for the anniversary due to the fact that he is attending Insomnia this year.

Detlas Still The Social Hub of The World​

While it is still debated whether Cinfras or Detlas is the best trading outpost, Detlas most definitely remains the Social Hub of the world. Throughout the two years of waiting for Gavel's release, players would spend hours chatting in Server 1, Detlas waiting for the sweet moment when they could travel to Gavel. Now that the time has finally come, players are reluctant to leave the spots they have spent so long standing in despite a "new and improved" Hub City in Gavel. This is most likely because of the fact that many players have special "AFK Spots" where they stand while chatting or simply relaxing. Another attractive feature of this city is the addictive "railway" that runs the far length of the bank (many players are standing on it in the picture above). Players will run across this "railway" mindlessly while engaged in many other activities. "People have certain places they want to associate with, places that mean something to them and the community. Deltas has always been a social and trading hub for all players within Wynn as it is a place players of all levels can congregate together, share their experiences, make friends and sell legendary and rare items", @Paladin A'renos tells our reporters.

Patch Causes War



With the recent bug fix involving the Spell Damage identification, players are at each other's throats when it comes to whether this patch was for the greater good or not. Many threads have been made complaining about this "nerf" and how it is unfair. The excessive amounts of argumentation has especially gotten @Selvut283 on his toes. "People have complained about these sorts of things in the past. First, with the Assassin nerf, then with the Lv 20, 10 Mana Regen items, and now this. They are complaining over nothing. I simply have lost patience with them", she says. While there are many views, it is apparent that Salted was very adamant in fixing this bug, and that he won't be changing it back.

New Kidnapping Trend?

With the recent 1.9 Update, players have been able to utilize the new "pushing players" feature to "kidnap" players. This action has become quite the practical joke across the forums, even making it's way to Jumla, founder of Wynncraft. Some players even say that it's "payback for spilling your damn coffee"; a hilarious spin on the 9/7 incident known as The Wipe. So be wary when you AFK in the lobby! If you're VIP be sure to fly if you don't want to end up like poor "JumJum" here.

ADVENTURER'S ARTISTRY

Please send help. After reaching the tallest peak in the Pigman Ravines, I have fallen into some sort of strange crevice. I might have to chop my own arm off to escape. But in the brightside there is this wonderful peice of artwork made by @yman14 , entitled "Gavel Dark Forest" I love the colors used, and how the heavy brushstrokes make the forest seem dark and ancient.

Before falling into this hole, I had found some sort of strange building, with glowing crystals everywhere. It was made by @tubarao312 , and the build is called "The Nexus Entrance". It is hard to place what style this build is in, but it is of superb quality and has a feeling of grandness to it.

I really do not care what pronouns are used to refer to me as long as I know I am being talked about(though I am male).

 

What did I do? If it seemed as though I was insulting you, I promise you I wasn't.

I really do not care though. I do not take it as an insult, even if it was done repeatedly(which it wasn't I am just saying even if it was, and I am trying to be sincere here though it may not carry well through text).

 

Actually the only reason I did not do it this week was because Xavier told me not to do his math presentation. I soooooo wanted to use it.

Mages were most affected by the patch. I have a level93, 89 & 85 Mage & I'm going to be honest, I actually liked this update. This way there will be a challenge in doing things & people won't stick to just one build. I got bored of Wynn because of how easy my classes could just kill anything so I put all my time & dedication into trading. Now with this patch, Wynn is actually more enjoyable & there is a challenge to the game instead of being able to do anything with ease. c:

 

Too bad it cannot be seen without clicking the image.

I think the patch was good. It is more fun to make and test your own builds.
