I feel that the oddest thing about this is that the pure is the most nerfed thing about this 'bug patch' even though everyone said the pure is shit

basically, and remember memento and soul are so important to the build, which makes it the only reason pure is THAT good

 

tfw pure wasnt changed at all or how the calculation affected pure in anyway shape or form... litterally the only way pure was "nerfed" is if you used raw spell dmg

 

And THAT is the problem. If people nonstop chant that assassin is OP, there will be a nerf. If people nonstop chant that the mage heal is OP, there will be a nerf. If people keep shout QIRA IS TOO EASY, there will be a buff.

Pure utilizes Percent spell damage, not raw.

lament is more of a support wand instead of a dmg wand (atleast in my eyes)

 

Well, Memento was based around Mana Regen and Spell Damage in general, not just raw. It has 10% spell damage on it if you notice, in addition to the 150 raw.

Third Eye is actually a rather defensive piece, with again, heavy focus on the Mana Regen, but also giving SP regen and 8% defense against all elements. The 100 raw spell damage was just the icing on the cake, so to speak.

Soul Signal, however, was based around raw spell damage, as well as SP regen(it has a massive 25% SP regen!!) but the nerf does not mean they are less viable pieces, just that they do not make such a game-breaking combination.

Yeah, Salted confirmed this awhile ago in a chat; it was more meant to be a healer's wand than a fighter's wand.

 

Well in my opinion it's the only endgame water wand that has decent stats.

 

The Melee Damage ID does not affect spell damage, but the damage your WEAPON deals certainly does.
