Ah yes, what is best. As in, what is ridiculously overpowered to the point of being game-breaking. There is such a thing as balance, you know. This is exactly how people reacted when Assassin was nerfed at 1.1.4. They had their purposely overpowered class nerfed to a comparable level, oh the horror! Wynn is ruined forever! This is how people reacted when the items that accidentally were slipped 10 mana regen were nerfed, as well. Oh, my overpowered item has been brought down to normal! The humanity! The game makers are so cruel!

I will reiterate: stop acting like a baby who has lost his bottle. You will survive, and I am sure that even without your game-breaking build you will find a good amount of power.

Excuse me, a Super Fast Multihits is dealing somewhere in the neighborhood of 1000-1400% damage, what do you mean there are "no good spells"?

 

Exactly. I think the only thing assassin might need is a slight buff to multihit OR spin attack, and a slight nerf to smoke bomb, because right now smoke bomb is so powerful compared to all it's other spells .-.

Vanish can just be vanish, it's not as good as before but since mana regen Id's take effect as soon as you end it, I can make it work

I'm sorry, but there's a reason it was nerfed. You can literally 1-shot most players with meteor. If you're using Pure, it's a freaking level 60something wand. Pure was broken, plain and simple. Try and find another build, like an all-around that uses Cascade or maybe use Lament or Lunar Spine. Pure was broken and has been broken until the nerf. Hell, Cerid's Dynamo was literally a rare level 57 wand that could one-shot level 100 players. As an earth warrior, I can safely say that is ludicrously OP. I've basically never been able to stand a chance against mages, all due to meteor. There's more balance now.

 

Smoke bomb's fine as it is, it already got nerfed to 1/3 of its power in January. Currently it still does a lot of damage, but it takes like 10 seconds to deal it, which is justifiable for a DOT spell. However, yes, I must agree with you. Multihit is far too weak. It was nerfed a while back to an underpowered state, where it is currently residing now. Though fire enemies have high health, it still takes me 2-3 multihits to kill a fire mob with a water weapon.

Personally I've been having problems with multihit for a while now, as I mentioned above.

You guys both have valid points, I assume Selvut has either a super fast water air or thunder dagger. The superfast multiplier would buff every hit a bit so it increases a ton.

 

Sooooo will there be a nerf for the god that was on par with mage? The speedy af archer that can run faster than a 40/40 white?

 

The water weapon I mentioned is only Fast attack speed tier, but even using Roulette (super fast) with fantastic IDs I still have issues. So perhaps it's just the particular gear I have.

 

That speedy af archer that gets rekt by earth weapons, ice snake, war scream, and smoke bomb?
That speedy af archer with high speed, low damage, low defence, and low health? Sooooo op.

The armour would also have to help, I'm guessing Soul Signal, and maybe Memento?

 

I forget whether Multihits deals 15, 20, or 25% damage at base, but with the *4 Super Fast multiplier, that becomes 60%, 80%, or 100% per hit, +400% on the final hit(again factoring in the multiplier) so it becomes 1000-1400%.

I am not even using that spectacular gear. Exosphere, Screech, Leg of the Scared, Thunderous Step, Ripper, Black Ring, Needle Cuff, Royal Shocking Amulet, and either Chakram or Rewind depending on the enemy I am fighting. It is focused, but not anything super spectacular.

 

Gonna point out one other thing:

And you wonder why people want assassin to be buffed.

 

Im talking about the speedy af archer that can still 1-2 hit sith an upclose RANGED attack (arrow bomb)

And how tf can smoke bomb do anything that is faster than a white horse. It isnt some spider man net.

 

It doesn't need a buff imo, it just needs a damage swap between spells .-.

 

I havent seen much low lvls use pure though. it is hard to find good gear at that lvl to actually use the wand

Due to the nerf, this shouldn't happen anymore.
BECAUSE: Low damage on air weapons but fast speed will cancel each other out to equal a normal arrow bomb, not an op one.

 

Not quite at endgame yet, although I do have a good Third Eye I'm one level away from using, and I also bought a Memento. I'm only level 87 so all the really powerful gear is still a bit far away for me. I hardly buy gear, so trying to find uniques and rares that boost my spell damage is kind of tough. Might just have to get some more boosts and maybe find some accessories to help out.
