Media Wow Double Loot Bombs Are Disappointing

"Wow, double loot bomb!", I thought excitedly as I looked at chat. "That means I'll be twice as likely to get some sweet Legendary loot from my grinding!"
Apparently not. I guess either the devs were lazy or I misinterpreted this whole "double loot" thing, because instead of it doubling your chances of getting stuff, it just gives you two of everything. Including all the useless stuff. Especially all the useless stuff.

And that's not including all those basic items, most of which I threw out because I was running out of inventory space.
So on one hand, I ended up with twice the amount of useless armor that I would usually have, but on the other hand, I made a lot of money that day.
If anybody else has had some similarly disappointing double loot experiences, feel free to share them here.

 

the item that get dropped ..just get dropped twice thats all..its the same item but doubled

 

I got two Scorpios from a double loot bomb, so I can see why they have some use. But in reality, "2x the loot" is 2x the junk.

 

They are actually really disappointing. Though a few times I got some nice double legendaries, most of the time it's just junk that goes to the item buyer for a few more handfuls of emeralds. It's also why I hardly ever witness players using them. I can see why they don't want to make something like Double Loot too overpowered, but its hindrances outweigh the conveniences.

 

Some people got a mythic on double loot so they got 2 :/
At some times they can be handy

 

Yeah but the chances of that are so slim that usually it's just extra junk.

 

Well, more moneys from the Item Buyer at least...

 

It could drop 2 mythics.

 

Yeah but that's like getting struck by lightning - it happens like ten times a year, and it's almost certainly not going to be you.

 

Double Loot Bombs are either very useless (Lots of basic items)

OR

you get extremely lucky and get 2 Mythics (2 Stratiformis') and like 6 Legendaries. The chance of this is small though. ;3

 

I once got 2 third eyes from one, they were terrible.

 

I got 4 legendaries from one once. 2 were dislocator, 2 were heliophobia.

Well no, chances of a higher tier item are higher with loot bombs IIRC
