The enderman head was a confirmed easter egg. Corruption occurs in Wynn, whereas Darkness (or Time, or Life...) occurs in Dern. Also, the end portal around Ternaves was also an easter egg.

Oh and when using info from someone else's research/theories, not only do you credit and tag them (like you did, well done) but you need to ask permission. Spyro is currently away for who knows how long.

FYI, a breakthough is new information or a new idea. You put together some stuff from Spyrohawk (aka old info we've already heard from him) and you're getting way too creative for a theory. Gathering old info is a report. No quotes or hints from the actual lore is a creative piece. A true theory gathers hints from the lore and makes an educated guess.

So next time, I suggest adding quotes and being active on the forums (so you know what is and isn't an easter egg).

At least Spyro puts thought into his theories and makes sure that they don't interfere with the lore.

The Ancients were running from the Eye, who is currently controlling Dern. Dern is controlled by darkness, so whatever this Eye thing is, it has something to do with darkness.

Also, did anybody realize that the closer you get to the Dern area, the more dark the lore gets? The ocean has almost all light and magic stuff like Gavel, then as you get closer to the very right of Wynn, the lore gets darker introducing Corruption and stuff like ToA and Death?

 

Dern might be the birthplace of the shadows and darkness which mutated into corruption

 

Well, there is no real evidence supporting Endermen as an actual race.
