    Can you screen shot your assassin skill build? I recently started an assassin and I'm still looking for a skill setup to build towards.

    You pass off heal, saying that heal isn't as good as you say it is, but it's quite ridiculous. Self healing in any game is op. If you were an assassin and you just lost 80% of your health. You have to vanish, scroll to your health pot, but when you scroll you unvanish. So you have to gain a good amount more distance in vanish, using more mana. And then heal. Meanwhile Mage just spams right left right. The damage of smoke bomb is way too slow. It lasts for too short amount of time, and you cast about 2.25 meteors in the 3 seconds that is smoke bomb. So if I casted 4 smoke bombs, I would cast 9 meteors. Also your argument in saying that assassins can deal more damage when they stack other attacks is invalid, Mage can do the exact same thing. Also meteors have better AoE, smoke bombs radius of damage is very small, it may look like it covers a lot of distance, but it's never enough. Your damage tests don't seem accurate, you just say whatever you think it did. Just subtract the health after the cast by the original health. I can agree that assassin sure as hell is a viable class, but it lacks so many things that a Mage has an advantage in. Assassin is not enough, I think if it had a few tweaks, it could be so much better, and fun.

    And if the Assassin uses Vanish, the Mage can easily Ice Snake the whole spot, so the Assassin is uncovered from its Vanish.

    If you play the assassin in a way that the mage doesn't know where you are up to the point where, considering it has low defence, you can do enough damage before they have time to heal. Unless the mage is sporting Statue for some reason, the mage, if you use Man's build in this case, would be taken out before it had a chance to heal. And as for his damage tests, he's conducted tests on multiple mobs/NPCs and players, and I'm assuming he's also probably done the math.

    OK, in terms of damage, please tell me where you got your information, because as far as I know, mage most definitely does not do 2.5x more damage than assassin. Also, you might want to explain what you're trying to get at here, its hard to understand what you wrote, but you specified that the mage did more damage when endgame, does this include assassin also being endgame?

    The assassin doesn't need to spam spells, he's meant to sneak up on players strike quickly and hard, and run. Not spam spells.

    First of all, a single class/character can not be crowd controlled, but a single class/character can use crowd control. Now, what I'm getting from what you wrote is that if the class/character is ganged up on by multiple mobs. Now I understand that the assassin doesn't really have a movement spell, but it does have spells that will help it out of a situation like this, and quite well too.
    First: Spin attack will slow down/freeze enemies and prevent them from jumping for a short time; that short time is time enough to be able to run away.
    Second: Vanish gives speed and jump boost while active; combined with spin attack, you could very easily get far away enough from your attackers.
    Third: Smoke bomb greatly reduces movement while in the smoke; this could also be used to gain an advantage and run away while its active and you have an advantage in speed.
    Fourth: While this last one may not be viable, it is still possible. Multihit's last upgrade allows you to control where the mobs go, by moving your head. This could help if you were say near a cliff, and you could use multihit to 'fling' them off.

    Two things:
    1. Soloing final form Amadel isn't hard, I did it with level 55-65 stuff as an assassin by spamming smoke bombs. (It took half an hour, but that's beyond the point)
    2. Mages have HUGE range, good AoE, and the ability to control where ice snake goes. it's a lot easier to freeze a player before unleashing a hailstorm of meteors than to get an oppenent trapped in a wall while repeatedly blinding him and keeping him in the smoke bomb.

    If you know how to use vanish properly, you don't need to use for more than a few seconds.

    Just going to ignore point 1 since its not really what we're talking about. Mages do have huge range and good AoE and it is easy to ice snake an opponent, but again as I've said many times, the way you play assassin has a big effect on how effective it is overall in your hands. Don't be predictable, use vanish to cross open spots and hide. Make your enemy worried about where you are, because at that point they're just spamming they're spells trying to hit you. Never let them see you, use vanish to run across open spaces, then sneak and regen mana. Repeat until you get close enough to attack.

    using it cost 5 mana
    in vanish drains abt 5 mana in 3 seconds
    if you are sprinting it drains abt 5 mana in 3 seconds
    20-15=5
    you have 5 mana left. what can you do? nth.

    Like I said, get behind cover, sprinting with speed for 3 seconds is enough to cover at least 10 blocks plenty if I say so myself. And all the while, your opponent is spamming spells wasting their manager trying to diguret out where you are.

    kinda a lie. I've been able to get to the ToL from troms and only expend around 8-10 mana. (Now give me my chocolate, god dammit)

    Thanks for reinforcing my point even more. Assassin really doesn't need a buff at all. Maybe what needs to happen is 'assassins' need to either change their build or play style.

    Its funny you say that you dont heal much, because I heal back up to 3/4 of my maxHealth, when I'm super low at currentHealth

    assassin dont need a buff i have said already

    he need a rework instead
    "Area Of Effect" which means area damage, for exmaple meteor or bomb arrow

    Assassin has 180% defence and mage has 80% defence I think.
    The healing makes up for the 80% defence
