Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

"Greetings, Miss Artemis. I am Sir Robert of Greenhill Stronghold, ex-captain." I then extend my hand to shake hands. I turn to Aj. "Well, its sort of a long story, but a draconian named Lefayla came asking me help to kill her brother, when Tirai came in. After I managed to break up the two, I let them go, but they started fighting right away. They ended up coming to a conclusion of either letting me let them be, or them destroying my stronghold. So, I chose the latter, and after Tirai left, me and Lefayla had a short lived conversation, which was abruptly ended when a portal opened, sucking her in, and throwing her out very badly wounded. I was about to excecute her, when your friend over there, Riihs did the job for me. After a short explanation, I decided to tag along with him. Believe me when I tell you, there is barely any action by Greenhill Stronghold."

 

"Ugh, thank god she's dead." I say.

Artemis shakes your hand.

"Lefayla and others nearly killed us both," She says, "At least she's one person...being, we don't need to worry about anymore."

Artemis turns to me, "Aj, how many potions do you have in Shadow Home?" She asks.

"Hm, quite a few a believe. Why do you ask?" I say.

"I don't feel so great after the flight here..." Artemis replies, giving a weak look.

"Understood," I say, turning to Robert, "If you'd please excuse me, I must leave momentarily."

A dark portal opens up behind me.

 

"Very well. I bid you farewell Aj."

OOC: @Exvhius if I were to attempt to steal an ability from another player, would I tell that to you, or to the player?

 

I step through the portal, and it closes behind me.

OOC: You'd tell it to the player who's character you stole an ability from. Be advised that a lot of a Shadow's powers work off of it's inhuman, malleable body. Stealing possession, for example, would most likely kill the being (and you) you try to possess due to your bodies syncing and being unable to match the being you possess; as well as being completely solid.

Artemis' powers are fairly safe though.

 

OOC: Ah alright.

I attempt to steal an ability from Artemis.

 

You end up stealing a weaker copy of her vine powers. She glares at you, "I felt that. Do that again and we'll have a problem." She says with a serious tone.

 

"Sorry, can't help myself, miss. Demon culture. Always have to keep myself prepared with a spare ability"

 

"Well I doubt you'd be able to make much use of my abilities. They take practice to use effectively." She says with an annoyed tone.


I enter my room in Shadow Home, and I head toward the door. I stop, hearing voices from downstairs.

"It's so nice to have you around Abigail, I so rarely see you these days."

"I know, making sure the volcano doesn't explode has been pretty taxing these past few weeks."

"Well, you don't need to worry about that now. Here, let me get you some more tea."

"Thanks. Oh, I have a question. Have you seen my Magma Boots anywhere? They went missing a while ago and I haven't seen them since."

"Oh, I think I have. I believe Shadow Aj stole them when he visited with Artemis and I."

"He WHAT!? Where the hell is he? He's dead!"

"He's on some interdimensional adventure with Artemis, so I doubt you'll see him."

"Ugh, I had a feeling it was him...when's he going to get back so I can burn his face off?"

 

"Um, so seems you are a draconian after all?.."

 

OOC: I just want to know how she looks like

I examine Artemis. "So, may I ask: why are you here?"

 

I go up to Rawb, beside Artemis so she can still answer his question.
"Hello. I'm Thirteen."
I put my hand out and smile a little.

 

I look curiously at 13, before shrugging and saying "Good day Mr. 13. I am Sir Robert of Greenhill Stringhold, ex-captain. Pleasure to meet you." I shake your hand.

 

Artemis wears a short-sleeved shirt of interwoven leaves, and matching knee length shorts. A bow with 2 green crystals at each limb rests on her back with a quiver of wooden arrows. She has long, moss-green hair that extends just past her shoulders, emerald-green eyes and pale skin.

"I'm not quite sure, I just wanted to get off of Rineth as soon as I could. I believe we were headed to a place called Brisingr." Artemis answers.

 

"Ah, I see."

 

"I have a fear of heights; being so far away from the ground and nature makes me feel weak." Artemis says. A few flowers begin to bloom around her, Artemis' hands glowing green.


"I'm very sorry for what I did, and- SMOKEBOMB!" I shout, smashing a smokebomb on the ground in front of me.

The smokebomb lets off a little smoke.

"Heh, nice try. Now, we can do this the easy way, or the hard way." Abigail says, grinning.

I summon a rock in my hand and throw it at Abigail, running off through the house.

"GET BACK HERE YOU THIEF!" She screams, chasing after me.

Stephanie sighs, "Why can't I have nice things..."

 

"Common..." I mutter. "Anyways, might I ask, specifically what are you? I deeply apologize if this is....offensive."

 

"What's taking Aj so long? He was just popping off for a potion of some sort and then coming straight back, right?" I ask Artemis

 

I WASN'T GETTING ALERTS OH MY GOD WHAT HAPPENED IDK

 

Ihra observes the conversation from Rineth's back, laying slumped over him.
Rineth doesn't seem bothered in the slightest.

Xephyr exhales extremely cold fog at the Drakonshade, hoping to slow it down.

The air around you drops in temperature noticeably, and she seems to move faster because of it.

OOC: No, it's a dragon...

Apparently you're hearing baby's first words. At least they're... sort of comprehendible...?
