Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

I smile.
"Many of them don't have quite this many surprises, but they were all able enough to reach the Void Palace, so they would have to have tricks like these."
I fly into the air again and start to head north again.
This time, we go in a slightly different direction, but still north.
"Drakonshades like to live in places which are ideal for living in and filled with ruin and decay. If the Drakonshade went north from the farms, then the Drakonshade is using the North Mining Road Fortress. Or, precisely, its ruins."

 

"Great. So... wait. Can we kill it? Is that our goal?"

 

"Good day. I am Sir Robert of Greenhill Stronghold, ex-captain. Pleasure to meet you." I reach out my hand for a handshake.

 

"Yes, we have to kill it. There is no other option."

 

She looks at it awkwardly.
"Shake his hand, Ihra..."
She does so.
"I'm Ihra!"
"We already established that..."

"So... any ideas how?"
You see motion up ahead, something flicking behind a hill.

 

"We can try to destroy its wings first. If we can keep it on the ground, it will be easier to- wait, I saw something over there."

 

"Still behind you. I doubt I can outpace you like this."

 

Artemis looks at you with an expression of both curiosity and fear; she seems to have lost a little trust in you.

Artemis tries her best to not scream as she heads toward the ground, though somewhat fails.

I scout out the area ahead.

OOC: Artemis sensed a certain 'Coldness' about 13, since he's not really an organic living being.

 

"I'm going to see what the thing I saw was."
I fly towards the hill.

 

I grin, and then say "Well, nice to meet you Ihra."

 

Rineth sets Artemis on the ground the moment he lands.

Hello angry Drakonshade.

She seems happy and completely clueless on what to do next.
"Well, Ihra?"
"I don't know what to say!"
"Then..." *sigh* "...Robert, help her out a bit?"

 

"W-Where are we?" Artemis says, growing vines around her.

I hover near to Artemis with my Magma Boots still blazing; "Cool place." I say.

 

I look at Riihs. "Uhm, what else is she supposed to say?"

 

"With her? I have no idea. Just hope it doesn't-"
"Do you like flowers?"
"...involve... flowers."

 

"Well, it depends on the kind of flower really. But generally, I have a neutral feeling towards them. I mean, they do make great decorations in a ba-I mean worn out landscape."

 

"Aww..."
"Ihra, not everyone's a walking demiplant. Just stick with Rineth for a while.

...Sorry about her, she's not well versed with much outside of being a healer and combat."

 

"I'm sure Artemis could help with that, if you wanted." I say, hovering over to the stranger; my Magma Boots charring the ground slightly.

"Name's Aj, Professional Shadow Creature." I say, extending a midnight-black hand.

 

"Its alright."

"Ah, good day Mr. Aj. I am Sir Robert of Greenhil Stronghold, ex-captain." I extend my hand and shake hands with aj.

The Drakonshade looks at us evilly.
It then locks onto me.
The Drakonshade starts to slowly circle us.
Idala takes out her copy of my tome. She changes it... into a halberd. She doesn't seem to be bothered by the fact that it should be heavy.
Hythania prepares a shield around herself.

 

"You can just call me Aj," I say, "It's a mighty fine stronghold you have here. I must ask though, why give up posistion of captain?"

Artemis walks over. She seems to have recovered from the flight.

"I'm Artemis, nice to meet you." She says sweetly, smiling.
