Where To Find Bat Ears And Mashed Insects

I'm doing the quest for the assistant, but it says to give him an amount around 10 bat ears and something else, but I can't find any bat ears. Can anyone tell me where to find bat ears?

Also I am doing another quest in Almuj that you need to give the guy 12 mashed insects and 6 water bottles, so where to get those?

 

There are other areas, but I got my bat ears from Maltic Well.

You can also find water bottle merchants near ragni, and mashed insects are dropped from the silverfish in the desert.

 

you can get bat ears from maltic's well but you need to be a higher level to enter that.
you can also get bat ears from the sewer trap in the ragni-detlas road.

 

You can get bat ears in Maltic's Well, bonemeal out by Nemract, and the health potions nearly every town.

For mashed insects, they are going to be in the almuj desert, dropped by Scarab mobs. You can buy water bottles from a merchant in Ragni, by the skeleton dungeon.
