I'll take your word for it. To me, horror is defined as a legend that has lasted through time, and is usually not that well known on the internet. They also tend not to use monsters as the villian. For example, Edgar Allan Poe's works are horror, HP Lovecraft's works are horror, and Steven King's works are failed attempts to be horror. Slenderman, the Rake, Etc. are creepypastas
