What Is The Stupidest Thing You've Heard In Wynncraft

I can't help but put this here. This thread, wherein a player shows, in a lovely screenshots, that Ice Nations is not working, because when he talks with Adigard, and tries to give him the ancient treasure, all that Adigard says to him is, "Have you made any progress?" His next screenshot, to prove his point, is of his quest book, where the message is, "Find the ghost ship and bring back [Ancient Treasure] to Hallfred." Yes, he has been set upon the right path.

 

Reminds me so much of that one thread where the guy thought Druckush was Sayleros.

 

I love going back to threads like these and look at my own comments. It's kinda fun tbh

Though they didn't mean it in this way, that is a valid question.
If you asked me, "What's a Gavel?", I would reply, "It's a type of hammer, which is very small. Judges use it in courts."

And he's probably never read the server rules, especially the one against scamming. Surprise! Surprise! Surprise!

 

A few minutes later another person tried to sell pink wool for 32 EB.

 

Overpricing =/= scamming

 

It does, if the seller knows it is overpriced, and the buyer does not. Once the seller is told that they are overpricing an item, and they continue to do so, it's scamming.

 

And if someone tries to buy something for much lower than its worth?

 

If you know it's worth a lot more, and buy something off of someone that doesn't know what it's worth, there is no legal tenant that I know of, that makes that an illegal action. Although caveat emptor is an old tenant, their is no law concerning caveat venditor. If you possess it, surely you must know it's worth.

Morally, it's a different story, which is why I hear so many people telling someone who just found something, or is selling something that they just found, that the item is worth X amount of E, EB, or LE.

 

Thus the item check thread correct?

 

Somewhat, but that thread gets a lot of "how much is", and not much of "it's worth X", and sometimes, there are questions and answers in it that deserve the accolade of this thread.
