Soooooo, how did the mods actually become mods? I just wanna know outta pure boredom (and procrastination).

 

The mods were handpicked by the admins themselves if they thought they were worthy of the rank. However, they still have trials to fully prove it.

 

By not questioning how other mods became mods, not showing eagerness to become a mod, by not asking to be given mod or become suggested as a mod. Current mods have their requirements and suggest forumers and in-game players as mods, those suggestions will be put through a 2-part process, first part is the other current mods, if they believe that the suggestion should also become mod it goes to part two and is passed on to Grian(It seems) and then he accepts or denies.

 

Oh thats cool, so the admins were like "You know what? I like you, take this position on the server". I could see that happening actually, XD.

Just for the FYI, I don't wanna neccesariliy be a mod on Wynncraft. It's really hectic, but the attention... maybe it would be nice.

 

The best part is banning haxors. Justice must be served for lord

You clearly never were a mod on a MC server. Banning hackers is just funny until it comes to handling their shitty excuses and them trying to defend themselves.

The question is; why did they have the fly hacks available to activate?

 

They're just doing that so they can fly around on their singleplayer worlds!!11111111 They would never activate them on serverss!!11111eleven

 

Well they make sure the mods have a bunch of responsibility first. The admins don't just say "oh I like you, you're cool so you'll be a mod!" That's not how that works lol. Honestly, wynncraft's staff is much better than mineplexs and even hypixel. Where as their staff arnt very chosen that well.

 

Mineplex's staff is horrible. I was once playing on a player server, and I managed to beat one of the mods in a mini game. They then proceeded to kick me from their player server since I beat them and they were salty.
Like honestly, I'd be a horrible mod, but I'd at least be better than that xD

 

When being a moderator, common sense is very much needed. Luckily, I'd go ahead and say that each and every of our regiment of moderators do have common sense.
Then again, if we compare the three servers, you can't really be "better than some one else" in our game in the same way as on minigame servers. Still, common sense would prohibit our moderators from abusement.
