Herb Cave

So I've heard about the "Herb Cave" just outside the jungle. I went in during a double xp bomb (I'm level 54) and farmed there for 15-16 mins. But by the time the bomb expired, I had only gotten 2 bars on my xp. Am I doing something wrong here? I have at least 6% xp bonus so I'm not missing any xp.

 

2 bars is actually pretty good, that's twenty percent of your level right there.

 

That's very low. You'll see better results around the 60%+ mark. (Maybe, I don't know for sure cus I already have 135% xp bonus)

 

Unfortunately, I can't get any xp boosting gear. I have no le so I can't buy anything and I constantly get drops 10+ levels higher than mine.

It's much harder by the 90s, isn't it?

 

The only thing you can do is get better xp gear, and it's a bit expensive so you will have to farm or do quests.

 

At level 69 there is a quest called Iron a heart Part 2. At the end, pick going to the detective to get the best possible xp leggings (greaves of honor).

Don't farm there at 54. Farm at rotten zombie cave.

 

Thats your problem. You're lv 54 farming a lv 60 area. Anyways, 15 mins for 2 bars is great. I'd pay 32 LE if I could just farm for 75 minutes and level up.

 

15 minutes? Two bars? I'm lucky if I get 1/10 of a bar in about 30 minutes ;-;. Anyways, there's two ponds right next to Olux that has nearly infinite Nagas spawning inside of them, that's explained in the level 54 quest The Shadow of the Beast. You get a legendary weapon from it too.

 

Well shit. I sold those almost immediately since I had better stuff. lol

 

With your level, go to the cave on the left when coming from the bridge, it gives a really great xp for your level

 

1. You have VERY low xp bonus. That's why you didn't get much.
2. You are a few levels lower than the levels of the mobs at the Herb Cave. This means that there is (for dead miners in that cave, can't remember the levels of Herb Spawns) a 24% chance that a mob won't give xp. That means that 1 in every 4 mobs will not give xp.

So I would suggest finding somewhere with mobs closer to your level and getting the Greaves of Honor from Iron Heart (can't remember what level that quest was).

 

You're xp bonus is hell way too low, plus having 2 bars is great, I mean it is better than 1 bar, but if you really want to level up, I do know 2 locations in the jungle where you can find teir 3 loot chests which does sometimes give you jester accessories (most of the time)

 

Ohh.. at 90s it's pure hell. I leveled my mage to 95 back in the 2x xp week when gavel came out, after that it got so slow I just gave up and I've grinded maybe 4 bars since. My gear has over 160% xp bonus...

 

I'm just leveling my level 20 assassin up, so I can get the graves of honor. My level 89 Mage will just wait until the 3 new quests come out.
