Media Creating An Endgame Build For Mage

Ok decided to make a mage endgame build here it is:

Skill Points: 75 on intel, 70 on defense, 40 on dex, 30 strength,

Helmet: Third Eye
Mail: Soul Signal
Leggings: Greaves of Veneer
Boots: Memento

Weapon: Ethereal (others will work, but this weapon is ideal for the build)

Accessories: All jesters, except necklace which is Royal Stormy Amulet

There you go! That is what I came up with in a little time for you mages out there. Hope you like it. There might be some glitches in it (skill point req, whatsoever), please leave a reply. Thanks!

 

But without jester necklace wouldn't it make your spell damage worse? Because 2 items set bonus has negative raw spell damage

 

Third Eye req Intel 75
Soul Sig req Dex 40 + Int 40
Greaves of Veneer req Str 30 + Def 70

Therefore no only you cannot "rest spread" your skill points
You will barely have enough to do so
With that requiring you the total of 215 skill points, all you can do is chooses jester gears that can give you better skill point bonuses otherwise you aren't able to wear your build at all

 

Wearing two rings and a bracelet will give you the third set bonus, even if the items say you have the second set bonus. When you check your compass you'll see the correct buffs. I own a full jester set myself and I've tested this.

 

What if I wear 4 jester items? Still get 3 items set bonus?

 

I imagine that you would, because the set only lists three items, thus it should only have three set bonuses. I've never actually bothered to try this myself though. I tend to avoid using the necklace.

 

Something bad about jester necklace?

 

The only thing the necklace really has going for it is mana steal. Mana steal is great and all, but in my opinion it's not good enough to choose the Jester Necklace over other necklaces. Mana steal tends to be unreliable and unpredictable, as opposed to the more consistent mana regen (can be gotten from Stormy Amulet, Willpower, etc).

 

You would end up getting the two item set bonus, while wearing three items. Because you wear two rings and no necklaces, you benefit from this

I own a jester necklace 31 xp 28 loot. Best jester I own (and I own a lot). Also, thanks for bringing up stormy amulet. I used it to buff the water a little and get some mana regen

 

Yeah, i do not believe wearing two jester rings grants you the next tier set bonus

I'm pretty sure - two rings and a bracelet doesnt give full set bonus even tho three items

 

First of all, check this thread https://forums.wynncraft.com/threads/ultimate-build.110516/ There is almost a simular build, so give that guy the credits :)
Second, Without neckless you DONT get the spell dammage bonus, cuz the set is a ring, a bracelet, and a neckless. Doesnt matter if you have 2 rings, only 1 counts!

 

Actually, no... Like I said in an earlier post... I've tested this. Wearing two rings alone gives you the second set bonus, and wearing two rings and only a bracelet or necklace will give the third set bonus. I even have screenshot evidence (ignore my terrible skill points please).

I am NOT wearing a necklace or any armor, ONLY the two Jester Rings and the Jester Bracelet. You can clearly see that this combination of items gives me: +5% walk speed, -100 health, +300 spell damage, and -40 melee damage. And no, this is not a display glitch with the compass. In practice, my spell damage and walk speed actually go up, and my health goes down slightly.

 

I know. Of course not. The point is to get the loot, xp, and other buffs, WITHOUT the set bonus.

I just wrote down my mage build, which is around Aquarius, Mana Regen and good Damage.
You could have around 15/4 mana regen depending on the stats of your armour.
Memento and Statue are interchangeable: with Memento I have more mana regen and health around 9-10k (Phoenix Wing gives health), with Statue I have an incredible amount of health (around 16k) and can still move around pretty good with teleport.

Level 95
15 / 15 / 84 / 44 / 30

Wands:
previously: Bob’s Mythical Wand + Antipode
currently: Phoenix Wing + Requiem

Armour:
until around Level 90:
Blue Mask + Clock Mail + Crystal + Champion Boots
Detective’s Ring + Jester Ring (+ Tidal) + Royal Stormy Amulet

Level 90+ (Build around Aquarius):
Third Eye + Aquarius + Crystal + Memento/Statue
Detective’s Ring + 3 intelligence Jester ring+bracelet+amulet

optional:
Speaker / Shimmersight
Leggings of Desolation
Leo (for health)

 

Why would you use Pheonix Wing with an Aquarius, Third Eye, and Memento. Like the idea but wrong weapon choice

that 'bug' should be fixed xD, cuz its awkward. Im sorry than. I checked the set, and it said "Neckless, Bracelett, Ring", awkward :(

I would say that a full spell dmmg build is better, you deal way more dmmg, and still have around 9K health. :D

 

This is extremely similar to pure mage.....
