The First General Suggestion To Make It In Game!

Please tell me these are for people above level 90

 

My guess is that Corkus is added, but is humorously small and the few new quests have to do with its storyline and take place in it.

And a lot of those examples haven't been completed yet, because making a game is hard. It's hard work. But imagine if there were no surprises about Gavel, and you guys had all just been given in-depth explanations about all of its biomes and important landmarks, and were given a full lore text dump rather than learning everything gradually through quests. It just wouldn't be as fun, there'd be a few cool parts of quests but knowing every single bit of lore, and having seen every single epic build beforehand? It wouldn't be the same. It just ruins the fun of experiencing it yourself, or at the very least ruins the fun of it getting a proper public reveal. You're not going to get all of the information up front, and I know there's a lot you guys have been promised but haven't gotten yet, but it's still stuff that's worth waiting for if you just have the patience to see it through to the end result.

 

You're sounding like a giant asshole right now, I don't care if you're impatient, like holy shit, you do know they are trying their hardest to entertain you guys and this is what they get? Good lord. I don't think we deserve these amazing updates if ungrateful and stubborn people don't appreciate the time and effort put into these things, calm. The. Fuck. Down.

 

This may be in part my fault getting the community riled up over Gale's grave.

 

You know this is a video game that is not fully released yet right? I mean, updates are there to keep you waiting. The point of updates is to add new content to the game, and after one update comes out work soon begins on another which creates the sense of constantly waiting. If you wanted to, you could define every video game as waiting for something. Waiting for the person to stop talking, the cut scene to finish, the boss to die, the next update to come out. Everything could be considered like that, but usually we don't look at it that way. Nobody has seen everything there is to see in Gavel, and yet we're still complaining about how there isn't a new update. If you live your life waiting for the next big thing, and then after it arrives looking for the next one, you're not really going to enjoy what's given to you as much as you should.

...I was referring to the knee-jerk reaction of people getting angry over suspense. It was extremely difficult to find for so long that when it was found, people immediately resorted to glitching and demanded answers instead of appreciating the search. I simply fear I may have inadvertently encouraged such behavior.

@Grian and @Salted and rest of the build/content team: Thank you so much for the amazing work you have done for this server! I can wait for whatever the new and cool idea being implemented is to come out. Do not stress over people sreaming at you to "hurry up." Take your time.

Well, some of us like surprises, can't please everyone you know, you'll just have to deal with it.

 

What if its the xp chart?!? It is kind of joked about (mods and staff kidding about releasing it), it's a general suggestion, and it is VERY old.
