Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

"Was your friend, by chance, a Shadow Creature?" Artemis asks, "I'm guessing the spirit wanted you to awaken Aj, he's dead in the physical sense. His soul is in this Shadow Crystal, I'm sure he's gathering the energy to become corporeal again."

My Shadow Crystal pulses a little more frequently.

 

"I saw your dream. You got hit with a meteor." She looks cross at your lie.

"I can charge it with darkness, yes, if that's what you're asking..."

 

I smile.
"We will all try to reverse what happened. There are some things which are hard to do, but you have to try if you want to do them."
I turn to the north.
"Anyway, I'll go to the Shrouded Peaks. Xephyr, you may stay here if you wish, though we may want to see the Void Palace. Anyone else... except Luphyx can come to the Void Palace."

 

"That...that might actually work. The darkness would most likely be enough to re-form his physical form." Artemis says happily.

A short song of appreciation can be heard from within Artemis' tree.

 

"I'll go after this crystal thing... I can follow my soulco- um... Locket."

She tries, using her tome; intense darkness surrounds the crystal. It is absorbed by the crystal entirely before she stops the flow.

"Sorry if it doesn't work..."

 

"Ok, does anyone want to go to the Void Palace?"

(Btw, you might want to read the entire Void Rift Report thread. Maybe skip the parts where the thread nearly turned into Void Rift rp 2.0 though).

 

"It did something." a voice echoes from within the crystal.

The crystal dissipates into a darkness, which flows into Artemis.

Artemis falls back, the darkness seeming to overtake her, before it settles down once more. Artemis' left eye turns from emerald green to blood red.

"Well, at least Aj gained back a bit of his energy." Artemis says nervously.

 

"Right behind you, master."

"I'm going to keep up with master, if I can. I tried... sorry. Give your friend my regards when he can maintain himsef outside of you. Good to meet you, Artemis."
She bows.

 

"Your going to the void palace? Isn't that dangerous?" Artemis asks with concern.

"It was nice to meet you, Xephyr, thank you for you help." My voice echoes from somewhere.

 

"I must prove my worth to many. I wish to serve, I have much to do to compensate for my faults early in my life. Also, no problem. I hope to meet you again on better terms."

 

Artemis sighs.

"I guess there no stopping you then..." Artemis says in a sad tone.

"If we do meet again, that is. The void is a dangerous place, stay close to your master; you'll be torn apart if you're not careful." My voice warns.

Artemis seems to shiver slightly at the thought of the void.

 

"I know my home. I'll return."

 

"Stay safe, the void is hostile to those who call it home too." I say.

"Aj, do you think you have the strength to access your storage and get me one of your uncharged crystals?" Artemis asks.

"I'll see."

Artemis' left eye begins to glow, and a small cloud of darkness forms in her hands. The cloud leaves a turquoise crystal in her hands.

Artemis hands begin to glow green, as she infuses the Mage Crystal with magic. After a moment, the crystal turns a forest green; Artemis hands the crystal to Xephyr.

"If you get hurt, shatter this crystal. I infused it with strong healing magic." She says with a caring tone.

 

"Oh."

 

Well, I do remember only seeing one (two?) Gods on the characters list. Maybe you should put a notif that God slots are full.

I'm gonna readjust my character to be an inhabitants.

 

"Thank you. I promise I'll find a way to repay you both..."
She bows.

"Yeah. Maybe get that event out of your mind? You've been asleep all of an hour."

Two.
Yeah, I'll do that when I get home.

Adjust the strength, but just slightly. Make it strong, but inhabitants aren't gods.

 

"Really?" Lazarus is surprised at how little sleep he had. "I'll just... go to sleep again."

 

Bowie seems to have slept more soundly than you. He was still asleep...

At least you succeed. You think.

You have another dream. One where nothing bad happens, but you're back at the zoo.

Well, nothing bad happens to you. The zoo is deserted, hold your office.

 

Lazarus looks around. "Hello?" he yells down the halls.

 

"We hope nothing bad happens to you in the void; good luck!" Artemis says, giving a sweet smile.

"Keep your wits about you, you'll never know what'll be sneaking around in there; have a safe journey." My voice ehoes.

I smile, however this cannot be seen.
