Fix The Drops From The Ceiling!!

I was doing the quest "Beneath the Depths" and when i needed to take the faded map it won't drop!!
please resolve this bug!

 

They are already working on it, but telling them to "fix the bug" immediatly, isn't going to speed up the progress :3

 

This is a known bug, and the devs are working hard to fix it, please be patient. This also isn't limited to Beneath the Depths, The Wynnexcavation questline and ToL are affected by this too.

 

This isn't really a suggestion, is it? It's more a major issue. Did you know, that with a little searching, you can find dozens of threads about this issue? This is a major glitch, actually, that is interfering with every quest that requires a dropped item in order for it to proceed. If something like this is going on, where a quest is broken, you can look into the Questions section, and read through it. You will find so many threads about it. There is even a thread on the main Forums page where @DarkDemonDragon is voluntarily compiling all of the bugs that we know about. Yes, it's frustrating, but you can save yourself a lot of trouble and aggravation by just reading a bit, first.

The Canyon Condor quest is stalled because of this

It's not just this quest it a lot of them including canyon condor quest where gold bars don't drop

 

This might be a really dumb question, but wouldn't implementing mobs that drops the quest items be a simple way to fix this?

 

It would honestly be easy as that. Just adding friendly mobs like lightdust as glowstone and let them be in that cave and them drop lightdust k bye.

if this is such a game breaking bug, and they've had like a week to fix it and they haven't, then what are they doing? Usually these sort of things get fixed quickly.

I'm just commenting on the fact that they usually fix these bugs in a snap, but maybe it's just a real pain to fix this one.

My first guess, and it hit early this week, is that drops are hooked into, or related to, another issue, possibly powders. If it was something really simple, it would have been fixed by now, most likely. Maybe something that was involved in the 2X weekend is part of the problem, after all, the drops stopped after that, and right now, the servers are running at 2X XP (in case you didn't notice). Are drops working, now? Are the issues related? I don't have any answers, just guesses.
