This is where you can put theories that you heard or made, or put anything else fnaf related. Whats your fav animatronic?

honestly, i think fnaf is really overrated and milked. it has four games, an RPG, an upcoming movie, etc. it was kind of a neat concept at first, but now that it's been milked like a cow, and it has a very bad fanbase, i don't really like it. i don't mind if you do like it, though.

 

lets just watch what happens.

That's my opinion too. And for undertale, minus the milked part and the four games part. The fanbase is horrible on the internet. That's literally the only reason I don't like it

 

I used to love it, but after the third game I started to dislike it, and now I hate it. I mostly just like Undertale now. Like ATPrime said, it started as a unique concept, but got milked too hard. Also the fanbase is just awful. Of course Undertale's is pretty bad too, but that's not the point.

TLDR I used to like FNAF but not anymore.

 

I agree with ATPrime that it definitely started off as a very unique concept. I brought a sense of ownership to getting jumpscared by the animatronics, and it had a very good system for stopping the player from just shutting both doors and just avoiding all danger.

When FNAF 2 came out, I was quite happy. I was a fan of Markiplier's videos, and so there'd be more content for me to watch. I feel as this was the turning point for FNAF to turn from a 'Unique Indie Concept' sort of game into a 'Massive Fanbase Game' if you get what I mean.

When FNAF 3 came out, I didn't really like it all too much. I felt as if the FNAF franchise was sort of done with. As nice as it was, it started to feel a little bad. Even Markiplier seemed exhausted with it.

FNAF 4 I felt was entirely unnecessary. It was just more lore to feed the hungry 'Theorists' with, wrapped up in a bad game. While the gameplay was different, the concept was in no way new. Close doors, keep bad guys out, survive.

And then there's FNAF World. Just...why? Scott really rushed it and it was completely terrible for a game. It just plops the player in and expects them to know everything. It doesn't even subtly explain things, much less by a tutorial. I really believe like the whole FNAF RPG should've been left at Five Nights At F***boys, since it was a rather funny parody and a well made RPG.

 

Personally, I always thought Slenderman did the horror thing much better, It's much more scary to walk through a forest collecting pieces of paper whilst each piece makes the chance of slenderman popping up higher.

One of the scariest things in horror games generally are the things you can't see, and in fnaf, you got bloody cameras to look everywhere.
And you just sit in a room, with doors that break logic.

And then still I'm not a big horror game fan, and shitty jumpscares aren't gonna change my opinion on that.

 

I dislike FNAF, it's too popular for its quality, which is low.

 

Magnum Opus does a better job of horror than FNAF...
