    so now without a mage everyone dies?

    but your mana WONT run out with some points into intl , your spells already cost so little compared to other classes and with intl and some mana regen they wont run out
    even if they do you have RANGED melee attacks so you can keep distance till you regen mana

    i've been through this a lot of times on other games , a class sucked for an entire year than it got buffed and everyone complained 2 days later , but the people who had the class said "well it sucked for a while" well i am sorry that it did , i truly am but that doesnt mean it should be op now

    Mage is a class that revolves around dealing damage and maintaining what health they have there usually decently squishy and can be out maneuvered by warriors using charge or uppercut and outranged by archers. The heal spell is a necessity for tough boss runs such as Bob and can provide a heavy support role to a class that revolves around the spell meteor for most of its damage

    Quite honestly, I don't see why you want heal to be nerfed... the fact is that the heal amount, and all that takes a few things into consideration, such as weapon, and spell damage (correct me if I'm wrong there) so really, you'd probably have to nerf the weapons along side with the spell, which not a lot of people would really like that...

    But, then again, I might be wrong here... and just sound plain crazy...

    Heal shouldn't be nerfed.

    I'm going to talk about PvE here, as PvP is a rather minute aspect of the game. There can be separate changes to mage only in PvP mode to balance it out. Mage ultimately is a support class, and I feel like the heal it currently has now allows it to do so. Heal is a very powerful spell, and I believe that it deserves to be that way, for Heal gives Mage an ultimate purpose.

    Mage DOES run out of mana and it will quickly if you spam spells. At near death, it takes around 4-6 heals to get back to full health. This will leave you barely able to cast any more spells, making you extremely vulnerable. Even with my current build, which has over 120 intelligence points, heal does not restore an extreme amount of health, nor is it easy to spam. Furthermore, mage is horrible at running away at low mana. Aside from the fact that mage deals absolutely no knockback, the only way it can run away efficiently is either by spamming teleport or spamming ice snake, both of which cost more mana. It's impossible to keep enemies away from you consistently while also dealing consistent damage or consistently healing. Mage is incapable of using it's spells for more than one purpose; at one time, it's either dealing damage, healing, or stunning. Even though mage has the ability to cast a TON of spells, that's it's strong suit. It's supposed to be able to do that. Despite this, even with tons of mana regen and intelligence, the constant spell spam needed to create this immortal, deadly monster that people make out mage to do is, to put it bluntly, impossible.

    Thus, even though mage has quite a repertoire of mana to allocate to spells, mage has it's limits. Stunning people with ice snake and teleport WHILE healing WHILE spamming meteor for damage is impossible. You will run out of mana immediately.

    Aside from that long response that illustrates that a mage's mana certainly isn't infinite and actually rather restrained, heal isn't even OP itself. It's something that will hea around 1/4 on average of your total health when you typically use it, which is in no way OP at all. Combine that with enemies that can kill a mage in 2-4 hits, heal isn't strong at all by itself. Explained above, heal with mage isn't a problem, as it's nowhere near spammable. Even if mage deserves a nerf--which I can see--heal is not the reason why. Mage is surprisingly good at dealing damage through raining down meteors, and nerfing the damage of them would be the most appropriate change to mage, if one is needed.

    Honestly, I genuinely feel people complain about mage having heal because, even though they know it's a class designed around healing and support, they don't want to use their stun spell (every single class has one) and drink a potion.

    I mean I do use that stun-potion strategy. I'm more annoyed by mage heals than worried. If you just rush them down when they're low on mana, you can win against them instantly

    Well heres a bight idea to all of you:
    If you are having trouble beating a mage: Find ways to outplay him
    Really, its not that hard, just use your brain, play your cards accordingly and you can beat any mage. Its not the heal thats OP, your just bad. Someone even made a whole thread on how to beat mages.

    So basically EVERYONE HERE is saying they want to die fast? Wynncraft isn't about PVP its about PVE and going against Bosses, and if Mages can't heal you in those Boss fights, you're going to die A LOT.

    Really I think Heal should be buffed.

    It'd create a new business opportunity for Mages - Living Potion. Mages go for a Mana-Regen and High-Heal build, and walk around healing their customer. They could then fight bosses without having to worry about health, and in return the Mage would get paid for healing him.

    Seriously guys, if you keep a Mage who can heal you back to full from 1 health you'll never die, I don't see the problem with that.

    This idea is a bit OP. Because heal is kind of OP. But if they nerf it, people will die easier and faster against bosses, and if they buff it it will be WAY to OP.
