Alternative To Bob's Mythic Wand?

If, on principals, a player cannot do the Reincarnation Quest to obtain Bob's Mythic Wand for the mage class, what other alternative wand will deal the famed damage as does Bob's Mythic Wand? I heard Bob's is the best for its high neutral dmg against bosses (which bosses, by the way??) without elemental weaknesses. Please advise weapons which would meet the level requirements for L74 at the very least. Also please suggest weapons which might work if player levels up within 5 levels.

 

I would advise continuing to use bob's mythic for neutral damage, nothing gets better than it in neutral other than hive weapons

 

Sure I would, but my friend is against killing chickens in any game (the principal) and refuses to kill Cluckles for feather. So hence she won't be able to complete Reincarnation and get Bob's Mythic Wand. Is there a second best alternative to dealing neutral dmg that she could obtain on the market?

 

Have you tried giving your friend a damn feather? I'm sorry for being rude but it's a game. And it's a feather. The feather was bought you could say.

 

Actually, the hive weapon deals less damage than the wand last I checked.

 

It's a quest item, therefore untradeable.
But refusing to kill a CHICKEN to advance in a GAME is ridiculous.

 

Well tell her Cluckles isn't a normal chicken so it's fine.

Bob's Mythic: 155-225
The Hive wand has more attack speed and slots, but is level min 100.
In terms of attack, the Hive wand ID's are better too.

 

Yeah, it's not enough of a buff for it to matter at this point.

 

Actually, Bob's Mythic Wand does 185-265 neutral damage.

 

Well here's another solution. Either blindfold your friend, or get on that account and murder the chicken.

NP. Believe me, I thought i could just GIVE the feather, but its untradeable. Yeah, i know its just a feather and that Cluck Cluck respawns like he never died! But what can i say ... an RPG player takes this seriously. So my question is "alternative weapon to Bob's Mythic Wand?" still trying to find a suggestion ...

 

Go with your friend to Cluckles, you kill the chicken without taking the drop and after 20 seconds she can pick it up without having killed Cluckles. Simple, no? But if your friend doesn't want you to do it, you can't do anything.

 

You are too funny.... LOL ... Then i'd be breaking a few rules ... But yeah i did think about that option... But I'd have to finish the entire quest for her (totally blind folded) and then present the ill-gotten wand *idk how it got into your inventory* *casually whistling non-descript tune*.
Still the Hive weapon can only be used L100. What can you use in the meantime between L74 ans L100 against bosses in ToA and Qira herself?

 

Not the first time that the API with information that decides the values of everything in the game so how could it be wrong i don't get it has lied to me.

 

I have thought about this too... But she (a young player) will have nothing to do with the murder of a chicken let alone handling the feather. Just the knowledge of a tainted feather.

I'm curious but its getting off path and might generate interest elsewhere....

Not the Item Guide, that takes the data from the game. I'm talking the API, the thing that's supposed to give the data to the game to use. Maybe it hasn't been updated since the patch.
