    GUIDE CURRENTLY UNDERGOING CONVERSION
    PROGRESS: 20%

This is a guide to increase awareness of certain bugs, learn simple remedies, and to prevent duplicate reports of "OMG QUEST ITEMS AREN'T SPAWNING WTF DO I DO!!!" (Seriously guys there were like 20 duplicates on Github -3-) All of these bugs are known by staff and just to make sure:
    @Grian @Salted

    • Use more spoilers to condense and organize this more
    • Add a commonly known and chance of happening rating system
    • Include more bugs
    • Add a More Information link to all bugs with an Open Github issue about it
Will gradually implement a new way to organize bugs. Major sections "Temporary Bugs"and "Bugs that are NOT Bugs" will be kept while "Known Bugs" and "Not Well-Known Bugs" will merge into "Main Bug Section".

    Temporary Bugs
Typically at a game breaking level, these bugs are learned about the hard way and currently being worked on. Bugs in this section will last at most a week or so. Hopefully.

Progress: Admins are aware of this bug and are working on it at the moment. This bug has been active for over 10 days and was temporarily fixed during the 4th day, but came back by the 5th day.
This is the latest major bug and is related to quests. Quest items like the "Faded Map" in the Beneath the Depths quest typically spawn into the world by simply appearing on the ground. However, for some reason ALL quest items that are supposed to spawn like this will NOT appear no matter how long you wait.
There are currently no solutions for this as most of the items are untradeable. The only thing to do is to put off quests involve quest items like this until this bug is fixed.

For unannounced reasons (to my knowledge) armor has reverted back to being retextured Leather, Gold, Iron, and Diamond armor and will not apply onto a player's skin. The staff may be fixing something with the Armor API and are well aware of the situation.
There are no known solutions. Just be patient and wait for this to be fixed as this is something everyone is dealing with at this time.

    Bugs that are NOT Bugs
These are "bugs" that are actually in game mechanics intended by the Admins
    This is NOT a bug
In a recent update Life/Mana Steal were nerfed. Here's a before and after:
    BEFORE
    Melee Damage: Activates every time
Spell Damage: Activated sometimes with certain Spells
    Poison Damage: Activates every time

    AFTER
Melee Damage: Activates roughly once every 2 seconds
    Spell Damage: Activates NEVER
    Poison Damage: Activates NEVER
Again not a bug. However here are some tips to help adapt to the nerf.
    1) You can focus on Health Regen stats
    2) Bring Health potions whereever you go. 2-4 HP pots at your level is recommend for when roaming an area around your level. Make sure to restock on potions when coming back to a town!
    3) Use a class that hits multiple enemies with the basic attack. This allows the player to Life/Mana steal from multiple enemies. Mage is the best at this, as it can hit many enemies as long as enemies are within range, while Archer is the worst being only able to hit one enemy at a time

    This is NOT a bug
Fall Damage is meant to be a thing now. I hate it too ;-; Occasionally players will die from fall damage from the Craftmas Chaos quest where you fall into a portal, but this is due to lag.
Again not a bug. However here are some tips to help adapt to it.
    1) Reduce lag on your end with things like Optifine
    2) Use a class travel spell
Mage: Use the Teleport spell straight down to reduce the amount of blocks you actually fall
Archer: Use the Escape spell a couple seconds before you hit the ground. If timed correctly you'll shoot up before touching the ground and the spell will naturally negate fall damage.
Warrior: Use war scream to have resistance and then use Charge to reduce the amount of blocks you actually fall
Assassin: Use Vanish multiple times while facing towards the highest point and end with the Vanish on to have the resistance if you have Vanish II+

Yes it's OP now. Some people want it to be nerfed and others say deal with it... and then there's the Mages that just say "LOL Fire Damage".

    Known Bugs
These bugs are known by most veterans of the server and all of the staff. It's a good idea to be familiar with these bugs as they happen everyday, so it's essential to understand how to deal with them for the convenience of yourself or your friends. Plus you'll be able to feel like a pro in front of your friends :3

Level I Bugs - These bugs are relatively harmless and are occur commonly. They can be easily ignored or solved.
This is a bug that came from an older bug from Pre-Gavel. Items with a special character like Peliér were UnIdentifiable. This bug was never fixed and carried over to Post-Gavel and continued to be buggy. Previously this was just annoying since you’d still get the Defense, but you could never ID it. Now items NEED to be identified and this bug causes items to break and flat out not work.

These broken items can be used by anyone, but can neither cause damage nor protect. If you have an item like this it is up to you what to do with it. You can either hold onto it in hopes that staff will fix these items (unlikely at this point) or for collection purposes or you can toss them out.

More Information on Github here: https://github.com/Wynncraft/Issues/issues/3175

This bug is NOT to be confused with the GUI Bug which breaks items temporarily and reverts quickly.
This is a bug that came recently. While in a NPC GUI, such as Shops or Emerald Converters, items will break and will have a long string of purple text. This includes both items in the GUI and your inventory. The items in the GUI will revert in a few seconds of waiting, but the items in the inventory will not revert back until you leave the GUI. After a couple seconds your items will return to normal.

More Information on Github here: https://github.com/Wynncraft/Issues/issues/4059
This is a bug that has been around for a very long time. It's a very simple bug where the commands /guild stats and /guild leaderboard either show a blank or shows the information for the guild "Nobody". No one knows for sure why the guild "Nobody" and since the guild has nobody in it at the moment this helps nobody. Like no one not the guild "Nobody", but nobody... just forget it @_@

More Information on Github here: https://github.com/Wynncraft/Issues/issues/3799

Level II Bugs - These bugs can cause an minor to major annoyance to any player and the solution usually requires a significant cost of some sort. Still manageable and you'll be alright in the long run.
This bug has been around for years. When a player picks a class there's a random chance the server will lag and mess up in a way where the character spawns in the character selection room. At this point there are 3 options:
    1) Message an online Staff Member and wait patiently to be tped out (This almost never works)
    2) /kill if you have 3 or more SP. This will send you back to Ragni. (Best option for mid-high level players that can just take the Passage and want to save money)
    3) Use a Teleportation Scroll if you have 2 or more SP (Best option if you'll need to use a scroll anyway after doing /kill)
Very old bug that only affects players that been here for at least a year as this is back when all players had an arrow in their inventory. Some players mistakenly placed the arrows in the bank and these are IMPOSSIBLE to remove. There is absolutely no way known to deal with it and admin action is required.

More Information on Github here: https://github.com/Wynncraft/Issues/issues/3147

Level III Bugs - These are the "OMFG!!!!!! F**K ME IN THE BUTT!!!!!!!!!" bugs. If these bugs happen to you, unless you're rich or lucky, you will rage.
This is a recent bug that happens due to similar reasons as the Black Box Bug. When players spawn in there's a chance the server will mess up and the player will have 0 Skillpoints. This causes any gear with a skill requirement to come off. Althought this bug was confirmed to be dealt with by Salted in my previous thread, https://forums.wynncraft.com/threads/this-bug-needs-to-be-aknowledged.113507/ , it still persists and hurts a lot of players.

This bug can have several scenarios. I will list them from harmless to tableflip:
    1) You have no armor with skill requirements
Congrats you have nothing to worry about! You probably didn't notice this bug even happened.
1.1) No gear with skill req, but you still have 0 skill points when you check the compass
Simply do /class and reselect the character.
    2) You have armor with skill requirements, and you have room in your inventory
Congrats you probably just had a heart attack! Put the armor back on unless:
2.1) You have 0 Skill points when you check the compass
First do /class and reselect the character, and then proceed to put the armor back on
    3) You're wearing 90+ legendary gear and they ALL have skill requirements... and you had a full inventory
    Cry.
3.1) When you check the compass the skill points still say 0
Just scream "F***************************************************************K!!!" in the chat. Now you cry.
    Not Well-Known Bugs
These are bugs I've discovered on my own or seen a scarce amount of reports on. These either go unnoticed by most people or happen very rarely.

Level I Bugs - These bugs are relatively harmless and are occur commonly. They can be easily ignored or solved.
Level II Bugs - These bugs can cause an minor to major annoyance to any player and the solution usually requires a significant cost of some sort. Still manageable and you'll be alright in the long run.
This bug occurred somewhat recently and affects everyone. When you have a weapon in your hand you will get it's full ID effects. However, once you move away to something else in your hotbar like a horse saddle or a potion the weapons stop applying. Depending on the weapon's IDs this can range from helpful to annoying. Primarily this only makes a different for Mana/ Health Regen, Health, Skillpoint, and Walk Speed IDs. For example:
Bob has a Tower (a Rare Spear) with +1000 as an ID. While holding it he has 8000/8000 HP. When moving to hold a horse saddle in hand, Bob's HP drops to 7000/7000. Bob then spawns the horse and rides while holding Tower. He now has 7000/8000 HP.

Another way this bug is annoying is that when you are holding the compass, your weapon stops applying. This means that when you use the compass to check your stats this does NOT include your weapon. This is bearable with weapons with 1-3 IDs, but when you have weapons with stats:
    +1 Strength
    -2 Agility
    +5 Intelligence
    -2/2 Mana Steal
    +1/4 Mana Regen
    +127 Health
    -8% Walk Speed
    +87/2 Poison
    +8% Loot Bonus
    +17% Xp Bonus

You then have to spend like 15 minutes to compare 2 weapons because you have to figure out the math for all the IDs before actually seeing which one is better overall. However, it is possible to have the weapon IDs added to the compass. First look at the compass and pick out an ID that easily memorized and is a part of the weapon. Then, put the weapon in the hotbar right next to the compass and make sure you have no other weapons in the hotbar. After, that hold the weapon and do a couple spells. Next, quickly shift to the compass and rightclick. If you are fast enough the compass will include the IDs of the weapon.

Nope there are still recent reports of this still happening unfortunately. If this has been fixed, it wasn't done completely. I tested it out with a spare ring and it vanished instead of dropping :/

You can add one more. Crystal has no requirements, and I don't believe the Third Eye does, either. I changed worlds because the world was restarting. Boom. Off came the Crystal, off came the Third Eye. I only found the Third Eye, the Crystal must have gone inside of a wall or floor.

    Edit: Please keep it pg13.

Yea I think this is more of a lag thing than a bug thing though.
Wait so you mean that on the lore it doesn't show a requirement, but it actually does have one?
Also, @Snowing pushed that pg13 thing that fateful Valentines Day :3 Anyways I censor myself so I think my post should be fine.
Yea but several players have full inventories when they log in. Typically this happens when people are grinding and when they level up they take a break. Usually they'll have an inventory that's either full or almost full from the mob drops. Some players have storage classes that are completely full and are wearing armor to fully utilize the room. Other players simply just have a full inventory because they were organizing items in their bank. While a full inventory can be avoided, not every player can make sure to remember to leave some room in their inventory especially if they need to log off while nowhere near a bank.

Might be important to note that this actually changes items to their base forms, including Unidentified ones. It's essentially what makes your weapon a log with lots of lore on it an actual weapon.

My intention with this guide is to give brief summaries on commonly known bugs, so that players are aware and know how to deal with them. Once I get most of the bugs that get reported a lot, commonly occur, or can be easily dealt with, I'll start getting into more detail with each bug.

No, to the best of my memory, and I need to check this ingame, there is no requirement on either Crystal nor Third Eye, yet they both popped off of me when I switched worlds. Whatever bug is causing armor to popoff, it can, and does happen, even with armor that does not have any usage requirements, unless I am grossly mistaken. ( I recovered the Third Eye, but the Crystal landed somewhere where I could not see it.)

Strange, but this may be something separate. When this bug happens to me sometimes I have armor with no skill req. They do not fall off or get any red text, but a ring I had on did fall off because it had a skill req. Also, I know for at Fact that Third Eyes has an Intelligence requirement and so does Crystal. Perhaps your items have a faulty lore and don't show all the requirements.

In which case, I am grossly mistaken, as there are requirements for both pieces of armor. Thanks for the clarification, as I haven't been ingame since last night to check this out. So, it's part of the items-load-before-stats-are-calculated bug. That's actually a relief, as it means that a new bug hasn't cropped up.

In general this is true, as the admins on any active forum are quite busy. However, @DarkDemonDragon has created a project in which he is trying to make a hub for the issues known by the community, and he is an experienced forum member. He is also an active and valued member of the GitHub community. I wouldn't suggest for a moment that anyone who was new, or relatively new, should do something like this. I don't believe that the admins that he tagged would be upset about this, and I think that if they were, by now, either they, or a mod, would have said something about it. I could be wrong. It's happened before, once or twice, in my life time. ()

The only place that I've seen where tagging an admin is forbidden, is in the General Suggestions.

Btw @Selvut283 how do threads get pinned? Can a regular player apply for that or do Admins just pin a thread if they happen to see and like it? I know it's not reserved for staff made threads because there are several threads made by regular players that are pinned (In fact there's 1 of them in this section)
