Stuck With Death Whistle Quest?

Before I begin, I stopped playing Wynncraft around the time the Gavel Expansion came out. It was great at first, but there were so many people that it was just unplayable on my internet, plus it was FILLED with bugs.

I came back today hoping many of these would already be fixed. However, first Quest I try and it doesn't seem to work.

I have been to the mountain and got what the quest requires, but the NPC will not do anything but say "Go and get the flower, I wrote the location in your book!".

Am I actually doing something wrong or is the quest just still broken? Any help would be great.

There is a bug with items spawning (like the selchar hourglass sand)

 

Just wait for it to be fixed.

If you didn't go into the cave it won't update. You HAVE to go into the cave before the blocked off route

It's not an item; it spawns as a mob, which still works
