What Do You Guys Think Are The Most Iconic Quests?

Personally, I would say Tower of Ascension, Temple of Legends, anything to do with Bob, and Stable Story

TOA, TOL, Anything to do with Bob, Wynnexcavation sites. Not Stable story. That was boring.

 

TOA, TOL, Reincarnation, Wynnexcavation Site D, and Qira Hive, pretty much any quest with a huge boss.

Anything with a boss fight at the end

 

Mushroom Man is obviously the most iconic quest!
But not for a good reason...

 

In terms of regular quests (not anything like tower of ascension or qira hive or temple of legends), I would say Canyon Condor was a pretty iconic quest. It had many stages, took a while (as least for my lvl 40 it did), and had a nice miniboss at the end. Iconic and fun

Also, Rise of the Quartron was pretty memorable. Magical drugs and mech suits :D

-Craftmas Chaos
-Bob's Lost Soul
-The Mercenary
-Shadow of the Beast

The list could go on and on.

 

Temple of Legends, Bob's Lost Soul, Tower of Amnesia, Tower of Ascension, and Reincarnation are the obvious Wynn Checkpoint quests. But besides those ones are Creeper Infiltration, Underwater, Maltic's Well, Drought Sand, Ice Nations, and Mushroom Man.

I honestly think that locations are more iconic than quests though. Iconic locations (other than towns) include the Great Bridge, Maltic's Well, anywhere near Detlas, the Almuj Wall, the abandoned ship near the Ice Nations, the Durum Isles, the starting quest's area, the Pigmen Ravines (ragni entrance,) and the path around Katoa Ranch.

Confused Farmer is a wonderful piece of the GM teams mind, and amazingly illustrates how you create an amazing quest. It's captivating story keeps the player at the edge of their seat for the entirety of the quest, and no quest has ever been better. In my opinion it's a masterpiece at a whole different level than the new quests. These quests like craftmas chaos and memory paranoia are absolutely terrible compared to this magnum opus of quests

Shattered Minds was by far the best. It was the most amazing sequel quest ever. (Mushroom Man was the first)

 

Drought Sands. It stands for the TERRIBLE things you sometimes have to go through in Wynn to have fun :D
