Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

"Attacking?"

Artemis glares at me. I try to look innocent.

"Hey, don't blame me, you were just attacking her too!"

"Was I? I don't remember harming anyone but you." Artemis says with a slight evil in her voice

"What did he do?" Artemis asks, turning to Ihra.

I try to protest, but Artemis covers my mouth in more vines. All but an angry, muffled voice comes out.

"The name's Art-" Artemis stops, eyeing Luphyx suspiciously. "...-emis" she says with a look of distrust, shaking Luphyx's hand.

 

The park consists of a fountain, a few benches around it, flora, a couple gardeners, and a playground with slides, monkey bars, and a swing set.

There's a path that leads down to the coast on the other side. You can see children making simple sand sculptures and playing in the water from here.

"He posessed my mother, so I blasted him! And spat on him. Then he kept summoning golems, and I called Rineth because golems scare me."
"You were just attacking us both." Rineth mutters. Ihra climbs on his back.
"He's nicer when you're not pointing a bow at his face."
"Ihra, please... Don't start this again."

 

"Do NOT tell me you tried Golemancy again..." A familiar voice echoes.

A dark Crystal Golem walks over, it's about half my size.

"You know it's pretty ironic you should say that whilst projecting yourself through a Golem."

"You possessed her mother? I think you're deserving of what happened to you then." Artemis mutters.

"He's completely terrible at Golemancy; one time he tried to make a metal golem to fight in this robot war type-thing. It ended up trying to kill us." The Golem echoes.

"You're pretty active for someone who's hollow on the inside" I hiss.

"I just wanted to punish you for your misdeeds" The voice echoes.

The dark Crystal Golem suddenly jumps up and punches me across the face, the shock throwing me to the ground and making me slide a little.

"Just wait until I'm alive again." The crystal golem says, before shattering apart.

"Good to see she'll be keeping you in check, Aj" Artemis says whilst smirking.

 

Ihra peeks out from under Rineth's wing, petrified.
"I-is it g-g-gone...?" She utters through tears, not quite crying.

 

"Tell me I'n not the only one that felt good when he got hit."
I say to Vesius.

 

"I swear this is the last straw!" I say angrily, getting up and running in the direction of Stephanie's body.

Vines snake around my legs causing me to fall.

"Not so fast, you have someone to apologise to." Artemis says, dragging me back.

"It's pretty blissful." Artemis says to a space of air.

A vine fist suddenly punches me in the face.

 

"It was spring just a second ago..."
Lazarus is kind of unsettled, especially since what happened the day before yesterday.

 

"Best part is I don't have to feel bad about it."
I grin.

"Are you sure she's your friend...?" Ihra mutters.
"Ihra! You know better!" Rineth snaps.

Bowie's awake, kind of. He's trying to fall asleep, not realizing he just woke up.
"Lazarus, you awake yet? Hello?!" A guard shouts over the intercom.

 

"Now, apologise to Ihra for what you've done." Artemis demands, holding me up in vines to Ihra.

"No!" I respond in a childish manner, looking away.

"Apologise!" Artemis reiterates.

I continue looking away.

"I SAID APOLOGISE!" Artemis commands, causing vines to snap my head forward.

"I'm sorry, Ihra, for what I did." I say sincerely.

"Now give her a hug for making her faint." Artemis demands again.

"How did you know that!?" I ask, shocked.

Artemis holds a hand to her head, it glows green.

 

"I forgive you... But I don't really want a hug for it."

Rineth chuckles.
"Well, at least she didn't spit on you."

 

"Are you sure? Don't have any other demands?" Artemis asks.

"STEPHANIEEEEEE! STEPHANIEEEEEEE!" I start screaming, trying to break free of the vines.

Artemis sighs and throws me to the side.

"He knew I'd do that, I never let him get away with bringing up...that...memory." Artemis says evilly,

"But I could never stay mad at him...not after the amount of times he's saved me from the brink of death..." Artemis says sighing, thinking back to the encounter in the Void.

"Still, it's fun to mess with his kind from time to time. I could never pull this thing with Stephanie, she'd rip my skull out of my head" Artemis says. She doesn't seem to be joking.

"So I heard you've been hunted by some other Draconians, care to elaborate?" Artemis asks.

 

"Uh... Kinda. There's a group of four after us. I dunno what they want, mother says I'm too young to know."

"It's probably better you don't drill her anymore for a little while." Rineth says, putting Ihra on his back with his tail.

Ihra looks at Artemis curiously.
"Why did his little crystal thing explode?"
Rineth sighs at the question.

 

"You mean the amulet I gave Aj? No idea. It was most likely the gate between dimensions was too large for the Amulet to communicate properly through, much less allow me to relay magic, and so it shattered due to the forces enacting on it." Artemis explains.

Artemis puts her hand to her head an it begins to glow, her eyes glowing green once more. She gives an evil smirk.

 

I go down the path to the coast.

 

OOC: I haven't been getting any replies on here, it might be because my last message didn't register properly. I would like to just continue...

 

OOC: Yeah, that happens to me to sometimes. And then there are some people who get this problem all the time XD.

 

"Ugh, what is it with you people and grinning maniacally. Have some charisma for Bob's sake!"
I say, exasperated, my face in my hand (not hands, wow the gauntlet is big).

Watching the thread works too, of course.



OOC: Anyone want me to draw their character? Details of appearances are scattered, so pm me if ya wanna see your character outside your head with more details of appearance

 

"Maybe I spend too much time with those two..." Artemis says whilst focusing.

"Who's Bob?" I ask.

OOC: Really? I might just have to PM you then...

 

"Oh. Well. That... is a very long story. To be frank, it's just an expletive, but it's source is long ago... where you don't know any of history on our world... so I won't bore you with it. Just in case," I say as if I had just remembered something, "Your unconscious friend has negative reactions to light, yes? Similar to you?"

OOC: Feel free. Hmm, might be better to make a separate convo with everyone in it.... ah well.

 

Ihra just looks at her awkwardly.
"You lost me after 'no idea,' so I'll stick with that."

OOC: I think convos can only hold 5 people. I think there's more than 5 people.
(I'm probably wrong about the convo, idk)

It leads to a decently sized beach. Most people there are lying down or building sand sculptures.

Judging by the complexity of a couple of them, the sand's good for building.
