Hello. So I know that armor sometimes gives like speed bonus. But I also want to know how much percentage of speed is per speed level. I've heard that it's +20% for each Speed level (So 80% Speen bonus would equal to Speed IV) But I'm not sure. Would appreciate if someone would help me figure out. =D

It adds +120% each level. (from your base speed.)

    speed I = 100% +120% = 220%
    speed II = 100% +240% = 340%
    etc.

the 20% misconception is most probably due to people thinking that at speed I you get a total of 120% speed increase whilst it is an extra 120% speed increase.

To make an easy example to test this in a single player world, type the command:
    /effect @p minecraft:speed 5 5

By the '+20% rule' you should be going twice as fast as base speed.

Whilst you're going ALOT faster (7 times as fast, to be exact.)

Wait so if I have 120% speed bonus (in wynn) I would be only getting the same speed as Speed I (vanilla)? because I think it's faster than speed 1 even when I only have like 80% speed bonus when I play in wynn.

120% is equivalent to a 20% bonus, so 80% bonus should be 180% total.

I know what you mean, I started doubting myself when I wrote that down because of that feeling. But what I said is how it works with speed potions.
I'm not 100% sure on how speed boost armor works, item attributes have always acted a little odd in my opinion.

the following video contains what I think is the +X% speed identification. (Yes, it's actually in vanilla minecraft. mind=blown) and it's where I first heard about item attributes.

(skip to 2:41 for the speed part.)

As he says in the video the 'anvil of whee' gives him +200% speed, but as you can clearly see, what he has is a lot more than (100% + 200% =) 300%

Ok so I tried the command myself. It turns out that +2 Speed = +2000% speed and not 200%. So 200% speed would be equal to +0.2 speed and +80% speed = +0.08 speed
