"Who is 'they'?!" He turns to a control panel mounted on the wall. "Ok Google, send the medicine drone." (Lol 'Ok Google' look at me pls I'm funny) look he says to the microphone. He, against all logic, feels a moral obligation to help this thing.

 

"won't need that..."
The tomes levitate in a ring behind it.
"just need a moment...
...I sense a lack of magic. They're gone."
Their voice seems more and more feminine the more it catches it's breath.
"So, that was a crap introduction. My name is Vei... I'll leave it at 'it's been a rough night.'"
She starts trying to get to her feet.

 

I try to use my neck to help her up (being that i'm a convenient size to be used as an armrest)

 

"Err... um... thanks. Hey, I'm sorry to give you such a scare..."
She looks around.
"...You the only one here? How do you tolerate this smell?"

 

"All the others are in a bunker. The smell is what I did to get the dinosaurs into their bunkers."

 

OOC: Welcome! The third-person limited is a bit jarring, we've mostly been relying on first- and second-person (with almost everyone using the former, the latter only really by Exvhius and sometimes gods when narrating encounters, outcomes, and environments)
It's also nice to meet another dinosauria enthusiast. Although I can't draw as well :'(

(OOC) Not all paleographers are 'artists', some are just depictors of prehistoric wildlife however bad it is artistically speaking.

Third person because I have identity issues if I write for over a dozen characters all in first person.

OCC: My godly wisdom and longevity says dinosaurs never went extinct, nor did they exist at all before you created them or whatever O.o

OCC: It's like when the narrator is speaking directly to the reader. So it's 100% fourth wall breakage in most cases. O.o Kind of like 2nd party video games, when say Nintendo owns 79% of a game developing company like Ubisoft. It doesn't even... Wut.

OOC: Pfft that's nothing, I've hinted at the existence of understanding of photons, without even mentioning general relativity. And don't get me started on how you said 'singularity' and everyone somehow knew what you meant.... even thought no one has telescopes (far as we've seen), or even an accurate idea of gravity (and the way the 4 forces interact).

 

This is why magic.
So we don't have to go into sciencey stuff.
That's naturally argued about. (Matter of opinion, just a tendency I notice)
It was a joke, going back to the fact that it was never mentioned there are birds in this world (and Reflet stated that as far as she can remember as a god, she had never been aware of dinosaurs)

Just because something isn't mentioned doesn't mean it doesn't exist.

If this crap escalates more now or later on, I'm not letting it slide. This is a rp, it's a game. It's meant to be fun, not correspondent to the real world (though it can be, and for the sake of understanding and personal connections, parts of it usually are)

OOC influences are ever present. We never list out the exact extent of our character's knowledge.

(To the telescope point, I don't think we've really spent time in towns. Maybe for a moment, but we're all pretty much nomads, exiles, or aliens. Again, they probably exist, the only technological limit I put on this world is gunpowder)
