"Do that again and I swear to the other god I will incinerate you."

 

"We keep to ourselves. I watched the rest of the world from afar long ago... The unrest, the panic, the bloodshed... All due respect, I didn't want that for my people. Thus, eventually I put up the Storm Barrier as the Lost Kingdom's army would draw ever closer."

"Right, forgot to mention, not many people hate Ihra. She's like a seven year old in terms of human years... She just... is in a really awkward position. Take my word for it, though, if you threaten her and she doesn't kill you, someone else here probably will."

I realize I'm still holding onto her tail, then lay it on the ground.
"So... This introduction didn't exactly go well."

 

"I don't think there has been a kingdom which hasn't been involved in a war. And some have had very large wars, like my own kingdom."

 

"Look, bud, I don't know what the hell your problem is, but you best take a large step away from her."
I step in between Ihra and AJ and put my right hand on AJ's chest.

 

I barely seem phased, "Thanks for the idea!" I respond.

"Heh, many have tried that, but, as you can see by my presence, failed" I boast.

"Well, that explains quite a bit. I know what I'm diving into now." I reply. "Bad of an introduction it might be, what's your name?" I say, trying not to eye the tail I'd seen dropped.

OOC: Meanwhile, a few moments ago!

I let 13 push me away, evil smirk unbroken with Ihra.

 

"None that I know of."
She looks a bit panicked.
"Sorry, it's... It's been a while since I spoke with another god."

I flip open a tome.
"Ihra, come on..."
With a spellcast, her eyes open.
"...time for a snack."
Ihra uses her staff to help her stand up.

Vines snare you on the spot. You can't seem to teleport.
"It won't matter soon." I mutter through grit teeth.
Both Ihra and I are glaring at you.

 

"Were any of those people gods?" I hiss.

 

I look at the vines like I've seen them a thousand times before "*sigh* Haha, this brings back memories. Say, sorry to be so inquisitive, but do you have specific elemental, sort of "Guardians" here? Specifically ones that can control nature like this?" I ask, curious.

"They certainly didn't taste like a god, but I'm not sure. Small question, how do you feel about gods getting, say, murdered? For research purposes." I ask with an evil undertone.

 

"We aren't from here."
I turn to Ihra.
"Well? How about you light up his day."
"After that?" A red streak glimmers in Ihra's eye.
"Gladly."
The crystal on her staff glows with increasing intensity.

 

I turn to Reflet.
"Do we kill him now?"

 

"Heh heh" I say, "It's a shame you don't have shadows here, because then you'd kno-" I pause. I try to dissipate away again, yet the vines emanate a strange magic aura that keeps me put "Uh oh." I say scared, eyeing the ever glowing crystal.

"L-look guys, sure, we got off to a bad start, b-but that was just...uhh...a joke! Yeah! Just a prank bro! Pfft, k-killing people? Nah, I'm n-nothing like that! So j-just let me out, ok? We're friends, R-R-RIGHT!?" I stutter, shaking.

 

OCC: From now on I'm just going to put my hissing in italics, because Wynaut.

The ground is cracking up beneath my feet. "Murder me? Research?" I let out an unnatural, broken chuckle.

To 13 "Yeah okay. Go ahead I guess. He isn't going anywhere."

 

I try to reach for Shadow Katana, yet the vines are keeping me ensnared "L-Look, I'm...uhh, a scientist! Yeah, and I like to research stuff! Murder is just our sciency term for hugs!"

 

"Right. Yeah." I grin.
"I'll keep you right there." Ihra seems to absorb the charge from her staff. Her tiny horns glow neon pink and blue.
"We may have some mercy on you..."
You feel something form behind you.
Then metal, a point on your neck.
"But let me get one thing into your mind...

...DON'T TOUCH MY DAUGHTER."
The vines grow thicker. The blade resonates with light energy.

 

"I hate scientists. They're always trying to break the little tiny barrier between magic and giant robots."

 

"Or trying to create a race of robot-humans."

 

"Eheheheh, AHAHAHAHA!" I laugh manically.

I take the opportune moment to strike.

I suddenly possess the being behind me, it's eyes turning red.

I throw the light blade away with a look of disgust, then say "You FOOL! Haha, coming close to me to try and hurt me? Thinking I was ensnared in those vines? Ha, you're as stupid as that thing you call a daughter. As I was saying, it's a shame you don't have shadows here, then you'd know HOW DANGEROUS WE CAN BE!"

Spikes begin to erupt from the beings fingers and work it's way up it's arms, piercing the flesh like a hot knife through soft butter.

 

"MOTHER!!!" Ihra screams.

A pulse of light overtakes you.
All you can see is light. You lose control of the thing you possessed.
Pure light.
It burns.

Burning.

Ashes.

You lose control of yourself.

"Stay with me..." A twisted version of Ihra's voice echoes.
"...forever..."

 

OCC: ...
"WHAT."
OCC: I have no words.

 

Your vision returns after a while.
The area glows intensely. A decent area around her is completely devoid of darkness.
"Mother..." Ihra cries.
"I... I'm fine, hon... Just... Right on time... Exactly as I taught you..."
Vei vanishes.
