This is a piece of matter. Matter is anything that takes up space in our dimension. The amount of matter it takes up is MASS, aka the Metric unit of weight. Matter can be a solid, liquid, or gas, but in this case it is a solid because it has not been melted alive yet. What if matter didn't take up space? We'd fall through the ground. What if matter didn't exist? We wouldn't exist. Atoms are the building blocks of matter, and we are made of matter, so if matter didn't exist, atoms don't exist, so we wouldn't exist. Antimatter is the opposite of matter but, let's not get sciency.

TL;DR this is a piece of matter that exists in time and space.

Being serious, however, this is probably a reference to the VIP town. Kind of like the retired scam merchant, the ancient VIP member is a reference to people who went to VIP town, because VIP town was in the area.
