What Happened To Bob?

So this is a question and of course would be a spoiler. What happened to Bob? https://wiki.wynncraft.com/index.php?title=Sealed_Letters#Ninth_Letter These say that he sacrificed himself to stop a monster, while my friend says he was defeated. What really happened?

 

We can only speculate for now.

I don't think anyone truly knows for sure, but here are some things I've seen:
He died by a pack of wolves
He died by CoW (Corrupter of Worlds)
He died trying to seal CoW
He died by a creature in the jungle
He died by a creature in Dern
He died sealing a creature in Dern

 

I killed Bob.

We appear to be the cutest things you ever did see, but then we summon our black fire of darkness and burn you all alive when you try to cuddle us.
