Debunked: Eye Of Blood Theory

This was confirmed to just be an Easter egg. Nothing important. But you can still read it just for fun.

So eye of the storm is a quest I am super excited to do (even tho I need like a hella ton more levels) but most people hate.

I don't understand why, but that's not important.


The eye of blood was used to summon a demon from "the realm of shadow" and the demon drops the eye.

What do we know about the eye of blood?

It comes from the jungles of Wynn.



You know how the ancients live in the jungle? And they fear this thing called "the eye"? Yeah, clear connection. But that's not why I am here.

I think I know exactly where the eye of blood comes from.

IDK how the ancients got it, but it does not originate from the jungle.

So today I was like "oh, let me look back at all the threads I made just for the lolz"

And I come across one of my really early ones, about if the end exists in the world of Wynncraft.

I get curious. Door of time opened upon the Gavel release, Tavernes prison, and other stuff.

So I get a wild thought. I make a profile post asking someone to take a look at the portal.

Now we already know the ancients have something to do with eyes. In the lore of the game (from what we have gathered) about 1-3 years pass between the player coming and the Gavel gate opening.

In that time the Ancients must have somehow stolen the eye from the portal, and brought it to the jungle.

And then form there is was stolen by the cultist people. That eye is the eye of blood.

What we can infer from this:

Well the eye of blood summons a demon that the cultists worship from a "realm of shadow"

Eye worshipers sound alot like a mini-Wynn Excavation

And Eye, Realm of shadow, enderman? Sounds like another Dern case.

I don't know what it all means, but this is what I have found. A simple random thought of if the numbers changed ended up being true.

It looks like three eyes are missing. BUT, that just means there are three eyes in the world some where, and we KNOW one eye is used to summon that demon.
Where is this portal?

Black road, in between Tavernes and the abandoned mines.

I think you can see the entrance to the cave from the abandoned mines.

 

Well, that's interesting... still doesn't fit with this:
"It came from your homeland, in fact. A distant jungle. We call it the Eye of Blood."
Because it apparently came from a jungle. Maybe 10 of these came from the jungle, were brought to this place near Ternaves but THEN the Order came across this place, just like so many players have, and took it to Gavel. But the interesting thing is this: the cultists are HUMAN. So basically, they have been to Gavel, seen the Decay, found the Eye previously, been controlled by it, and this happens.
Now I have an idea about the other two eyes.
If we think about this, do we know of another eye? Yes, the one which WynnExcavation follow. The one which told them about the crystals. Presumably, also the one the Ancients came across.
Ok, so that leaves a final eye. And I have a good idea about that one.
From what we know, each Eye contains or is linked to a demon, like Narageth. So, what demons do we know? Well, Garaheth. So maybe, the DOGUNS had one Eye. Which brings a question: how did the Doguns get an eye?
I have a feeling that we really should check out the Doguns SPYRO, to look for signs of an Eye.

This is so old.
I doubt this has anything to do with Ancients or the Eye or whatever, but it seems pretty cool.

 

The Gavel guys having it would make a lot of sense, tbh. I've been hunting around the areas with Doguns and Dwarves, I've yet to find an Eye, tho I havent been to the giant tomb for the dwarves yet.

 

Well, one of the eyes is now missing so yeah.

 

I thought it was unrelated.

Then I took an arrow to the knee

But we have one mysterious demonic eye in a quest no one likes, and one eye missing from an old portal. I feel the connection.

Plus ancients and Dern are like all about some weird demonic eye.

Good point. If only we knew more about the Doguns...

Well, we'd been poking around for this kinda stuff a lot recently, and a few mods and GMs have been constantly pointing this towards the Eye, Dern, and Ancients. Really, we're trying to see if there is anything we did miss previous.

 

So what we got?

3 eyes missing.

One is the eye of blood

One is the one WE has

And we need to find the third?

I have been all over the heights, I found nothing.

Only places I have not been are:

The eggs on top
Dogovi (cuz quest requirements)
Ancient Rodroc


But I have been to the Doguns cam, and I found nothing...

2. Yet another thing to wait for the follow-up update for... WHYYYYYY


3. Going to go to Rodoroc as soon as I can. The only places I've explored in the Molten Heights are the areas around Rodoroc and Dogovi, as I wanted to go to every city.

I'm pretty sure that the Eye has something to do with the Doguns... I mean, Garaheth was their 'God'. Either that, or someone took the Eye and then planted the demon in Dogun culture. I wonder who that might have been...

 

I was all over during my dragon hunt.

Except for the north side on the surface. Perhaps you can check there?

Or if there is like an old Dogun stronghold, but I doubt it.

 

the portal was left as an easter egg to the previous portal that was there so I don't think it has anything to do with this.
also its not just that the an eye is missing, the rest of the eyes moved, I guess its just because a builder revamped it and wanted the new version to look different.

 

Going to check in like an hour or so, have to eat then do some homework stuff. Then I'm going on! (And hopefully I won't die... at least I'm actually level 81, you were in the level 50s XD).
