Clearly none of you remember when vanish didn't even have jump boost..

Which is a suprise as I find Mage is the largest counter to assassin with ice snake and meteor

Assassin Rekts mage so easilly... its just half of the players using assassin .One: dont know how to use it .Two: being more greedy for better attacks and .Three: It was debuffed because of eula, and people think its bad now, its good it was just op before but it was debuffed to fit in with other classes.

 

How so? From my experience both before and after gavel I never lost a duel to an assassin. If he vanished, I just ice snake the area and meteor when I hit him. He drops smoke bomb, I teleport out, he multihits, I heal in the middle of it

 

I asked Salted about it, and he's stumped too. There is no answer. Also, the times when I "disappear" that you cite...are when I am sleeping(or trying to). I am not at my computer at those times. How do you expect me to see your posts when I am in bed? I do not have a laptop, and at the very least I am trying to get to sleep.

 

I understand you need to sleep. I'm saying that I replied two minutes after you did, and you were still online.

can u convince Salted to activate mana regen when we vanish ? OR return the life steal and health steal as they were ... dude Qira is impossible without those shit..and why is she supposed to be killed in groups ? that would make it soo boring actually.... so i must collect a group or so to have a chance to take out Qira ? omg old days when we keep trying to solo death ...and fail multiple times then succeed...assassin was master of killing and soloing bosses...archer was master of pvp ...mages were supportive with their healing spells and freezing..warrior was the tank and the leader of the party..AND that how the game should be.....or u know what ? just get life/mana steal to normal (not like before gavel...its like the system after gavel...when they werent so nerfed...)

On the stun argument, if you haven't realized, spin attack heals your debuffs and lets you get away. Running up to them before they have a chance to use this spell will put you in spin attack range, even if they hit you, allowing you to instantly heal yourself and cripple them for a counter attack.

I may add that archer doesn't get out of some forms of stunning as you like to think. I bring poison daggers to the nether just in case of archers, as the poison damage (or any damage) spikes them to the ground in mid-escape. Warrior does in fact have charge,but its the most predictable movement spell there is. If you have trouble with a warrior spamming charge after being stunned, simply step out of the way in vanish and wait for them to cease. Mage, well, you got me there. Teleport is a really good spell that can quickly avoid attacks when stunned, but meh, its mage

 

Yes, because you fought the assassins that are bad, or atleast dont go agasint your build.

 

Have you tried making a new Assassin class, level it up to 11, and see if you still regen mana while vanished?

 

Yes. And I do. Keep in mind this happened with me before I became a Moderator as well, so the fact that I am staff has no relevance.
