Toa Floor 6 Boss, Alkevö, Bugged Since Update?

    Hey guys,

    I recently tried to fight alkevo but he explodes after +-15 sec. On youtube -before the update- you see people fighting him and he only explodes after a minute or 2, others keep hitting him but these don't seem to work anymore. Is this boss bugged or something because I really shouldn't know what else the problem is..

    If you could help me I can only thank you!

    Alkevo is a tricky boss, but there is a method to fighting him: most of the time he will explode after 10 or so seconds, but not always, sometimes he doesn't explode after those 10 seconds are up, that's when you need to fight him. Then I believe you have about 30-150 secs (according to what a moderator has said I think) to do enough damage and defeat him before he explodes again (but it's usually around 2 mins from my experience). I usually stand by the entrance, right against the wall, and wait for him to attack me, because by then it has passed about 10 seconds.

    Most of the time you will stand close to that wall and watch alkevo explode over and over again, but when he starts attacking you that's your two minutes of fame. If he doesn't attack/go towards you but you think the inicial 10 secs have passed, and he still hasn't exploded, then you can go attack him instead.

    I just hopped servers until he stopped glitching. As a water mage I killed him in under a minute, he's not all that tough.

    You were right, I was very unfortunate yesterday but managed to defeat both floor 6 and 7 today with your method for floor 6! Thanks

    tbh if you stay really close to him, he will just chase you with his melee attack instead of using the suicide charge spell xd
