Maybe there could be a change in the rules about inappropriate links, like saying that you have to warn them that its an inappropriate link, cause we've had some pretty great banter on teamspeak before now.

 

1. No inappropriate posts. (Keep it PG-13.) and Use your common sense, seems to me to be enough.

 

This might be a bit off-topic, but I'm curious as to what happened to the TeamSpeak, seeing how its rules have been updated I would like to believe it's not dead.
Hopefully someone with knowledge about this can provide an answer.

(This includes YouTube Channels, Twitch Streams, Minecraft Servers. YT and Twitch is fine through PM. You are allowed to talk about anything, but giving a direct link/IP in the goal of only advertising isn't tolerated.)


I have a question about this rule. I have a item shop on this forum with a Lucky Dip (it is basically just a spoiler with unique armor and weapons). Very soon I will start learning HTML and after that additional code languages. A friend of mine helped me to make a little HTML code which functions as a 'Lucky Dip'. When I was going to put it in a test thread it did not work. My friend told me to use a specific web building website that can show HTML. So I could implant the lucky dip code on that site.
So I have to put a link in my shop referring to that site where the Lucky Dip is.
Is this acceptable, or is there a (free and legit) way to use HTML on this forum?

So what you want to do is make your shop on a website and use the website to sell things?

 

My plan is to have a shop on this forum, and to have only one part with unique items on the other site. With a link in the shop on the forum referring to the site. Basically the site would be a expention of the shop because my idea for the shop is/seems impossible for this forum.
So yes, I would use the site as a part of my forumshop to sell items.

I'm confused why you would need to use a site for a part of your shop, what exactly is a lucky dip?

Not unless you total them up.

 

A lucky dip is a box or container with sawdust or pieces of paper in it, and little prices you have to pick out of the container, so you do not know what you are picking. I wanted to use this for my shop so I can see if I am able to make such a thing and for variegation of itemselling.

 

Okay, I am sure that will be fine for your shop, as long as you aren't ripping people off as it could be considered a scam. You are allowed to use a site as an extension of your shop in order to do something that would fit with your shop.

Rule 11 was updated to include Content team members.
The rules are now able to be interchanged between platforms.

Sad that this was needed, but glad that it was updated.

 

12. Player Made Invasions
(Leading mobs towards a city with the intent to kill AFK players within the city, also includes leading mobs towards people that are “safe” in order to get them killed.)

I may or may not have done that, but only too watch the guards fight them. I didnt lead them toward any player only the barrack lol. (In the doorway) is that also illegal? (it was only around 5 mobs)

 

I noticed that the rule of not leaving the map was removed. Why is that? Did you guys forget to add it, or it is no longer needed, due to the new world borders?
