Future Powder Theory

So, about a month ago...or so, in a Twitter post, Salted posted this:


Now, this doesn't seem like much to theorize off of, so let's go with some stuff ingame now, in every city(may exclude a few, including Ragni and Ahmsord) there's powder merchant location things. I'll post images:

So here's the Gavel cities ones:

Llevigar:

BUT, they're not only in Gavel cities, you see, they're also in Wynn ones:

And for all the low level people out there, Nivla Woods:


SO, here's what I think this is, based off of the first image, it's a powder application merchant, where we apply powders directly to our weapons. That's right GM's, you can't hide stuff out in the open and still want it to remain secret.

I'm assuming the tier of the powder will be based on the town's level, Nivla forest and Detlas being tier 1, while Thesead and Rodoroc will be tier 6(?)

 

I'd assume it can be applied at any point, not bought though, as there are powder shrines.
