Least Favorite Quest (poll)?

You can but if you hit the spikes you're just gonna get teleported back to the start.

The mushroom cave will be much easier to find next map push.

 

When I tried to swim it said something about needing to use the boat, but I did it a while ago so idk about now.

 

Yeah I fixed that about a week or two after Gavel's release so some of the people to do it early wouldn't be able to swim.

Although seriously, there's like zero lag now so I would think boats would be fine by now.

 

Where is Forbidden Prison? You know. That completely forgettable quest with no story, save "You're in jail now because reasons. Now leave."

 

What's the deal with Fantastic Voyage, what happens in it? I've heard little about it and am only level 86. There's no way I'm going to grind.

 

I wonder which little GM dreamed up this quest? Could his name begin with a "T" and end with an "s"?

 

Well actually the whole "get shipwrecked, find a way to survive on a deserted island" thing was @Lotem's idea.

 

So, Mr. Master Puzzle Maker thought of it, and you built it? I wish my mage was Lv90 so I could see this quest.

 

No, I can't build anything. I did the main file, wrote 95% of Relend's dialogue, and worked on the crazy portal effects, along with all of the mobs for the very fun place.

I could spend an hour explaining who worked on what parts of this quest, but yeah I was the main GM who worked on it.

 

A Confused Farmer, not to offend the creator of the quest, but it's basically this:

"Go there."
"Go back."
"Go there"
"Go back"

SHIT AINT NOBODY GOT TIME FOR THAT

 

Why the heck would you put Aldorei quests on a least favorite poll...... THIS IS BLASPHEMY

I remember when I was a noob (still am ayy lmao) and I got this quest. I was like ayy more emeralds to buy stuff. Little did I know that this would be the downfall of me. (Especially with the horrible mana regen while running. Makes this quest a pain.)

 

I really wish that there was a complete list of who made what quest ideas for the Wiki. That's just so much information that we are losing by not having a file of it. Not for anyone to say anything negative about any quest, but so players, later on, could see who contributed what to each quest.

The point of the quest is for the player to get familiar with what were the two main cities in Wynn, I'll bet on it. Oh, and to make the player as confused as the farmer.

Seriously I forgot this quest even existed.

 

No, the worst quest to me is Lost Royalty. It is the least memorable quest, and is very and too easy. Any quest which causes difficulty cannot be a least favorite, in my opinion. For me, what defines a bad quest is one that nobody cares about, talks about, or remembers about.

I've got three that are tied (counting ToA and Qira Hive as one since they're close enough to being the exact same thing)

Grinding. The. Grinding. This quest is like 90% grinding and then 10% other stuff. It's... it's unnecessary grinding.

1. Again, they're nearly the exact same thing.
2. They're boring. It's just a bunch of boring boss fights in boring rooms, over and over.

??? is a neat concept.
Really, it is. It's secret, it's hidden, whatever.
But there's no hints as to where it is and everyone is FORBIDDEN from saying ANYTHING about it.
This bugs me. ??? could be so much better if even one or two hints were given as to the starting location, instead of making it so that you have to get lucky enough to stumble upon it. Seriously, even a vague hint would be better than nothing. Or, even better, a riddle or something that acts as a clue. People have said that there are hints, they're just not obvious- yet those hints are just as hard to find as the quest itself.

Also, it's been said in this thread, but the snake parkour from Aldorei's Secret?
That was... absolutely infuriating.
I liked the quest apart from that but ugh.




But those are just my opinions.

 

wynnexcavation site D is completely irrelevant to everything and the plot made no sense. the builds looked like nerdpoles and the final boss dealt like no damage. i havent met anybody who didn't get the puzzles on their first try, and the amulets are practically debuffs.

Not gonna lie, easiest quest in the game is ??? shouldn't be on this list, and I have yet to find a quest that I genuinely thought sucked so good job GM's :D
