SPOILER What Are You Most Excited About In 1.9 That Will Possibly Effect Wynncraft?

The fact that the same items with different durabilities will have different data values would allow for 1500+ different 3d weapons from a single diamond pickaxe.

 

Well... DUEL WIELDING BWAHAHAHAHAH ;3;

 

New arrows (for archer)
Shields (for warrior)
Dual wielding (for assassin)
Mage can get the Elytra from a new spell maybe?

 

inb4 flies to the random glass block out of the map

You know, I'm half tempted to learn how to design 3D models literally just to do some for weapons. It sounds like it'd be fun

 

Custom texture for each and every item!

The attack speed thing would make it much easier instead of using haste and mining fatigue.

I feel like shields could be a thing, but it could screw up spells if used.

Sword blocking now removed is great for spells.

But by far the best part:

Infinite textures! Each and every item and armor could have it's own custom texture! Without Armor Skins!

Imagine each and every weapon having a texture unique to it!

 

One word; Sounds. I'm no GM or puzzle-maker, but I can tell that with a bigger range of sounds there will be so many new ways to change mobs and puzzles.

 

I hate 1.9 :P

 

The boats are the worst part of 1.9! I don't even know to steer them! How are youngling supposed to know?!

Minecraft 1.9 is, by far, the worst update Minecraft has ever encountered :)

 

Amazing PvP revamp, Shields, Elytra wings.... 1.9 is here to staaaaay!

 

1.8 is worse
its actually a good update imo

 

Don't forget that Witch sound! That sound is probably the best sound in all of Minecraft.

 

What's bad about 1.8?

Atleast it doesn't have Elytras, double wielding, COOLDOWNS, weird boats, shields, and lots more stupid stuff.

Dual wielding would be awesome in Wynncraft! Imagine using two weapons at once, or having easy access to potions! Even if we don't get any shields, dual wielding would be extremely useful!

I'd love the Elytra as a transportation method, but there's not that many good spots to get a jumping start.

Converting to the new attack speed system would also make the weapons that swing ridiculously slow (e.g. super slow weapons) not look as ridiculous.

But most of all, above every other feature in 1.9, I'm most excited for...

FIXED BOATS.

boats are getting fixed and they will be easier to use+ they wont break on a hit , how is that "wierd boats"
cooldowns will make wynncraft easier to play and while they might suck for pvp servers , idc :p

Fixed? You kidding? Boats are ridiculous now. You have to hold in A and D to go forward? Makes no sense. I like the old system more.
Cooldowns suck for vanilla servers, but on Wynncraft they could be fun.
The wings just doesn't match the theme of Minecraft imo. Good they're endgame atleast.
Shields are boring.
Double Wielding is messed up.
As you can see, I'm not a great fan of 1.9.

 

It also means we have to modify every command block contraption that uses sounds :(

 

This however sounds very interesting.

 

This also means that armor skins could be updated to double the resolution which means, with some heavy texture work, armor skins might not suck anymore!
