That letter at the end was kind of anticlimactic... Unless... OMG GRAVITY FALLS SEASON THREE CONRFURMED!!?!?! (Hey, a guy can dream!)

 

Man, i really loved that episode.

The general theory seems to be that this is a real statue hidden in either the Oregon Vortex or the Temple of Oculus Anubis.

 

Yeah, I really want to try and find it. Once summer rolls around, Journal 3 will be released and I'll resume my job. I could make enough money to buy plane tickets and use the book to find it, but that's just insane and my parents probably won't let me.

 

I actually live pretty close to the Temple but a) it's private property, and b) that's something my parents would never let me go do.

 

I just looked up the Temple of Oculus Anubis and holy shit is it creepy. This place seems to have a lot of pyramids, but I don't think they would let some man put a statue of a triangle on their private property.

Green Area = Shown Location of Gravity Falls at the beginning of the series.
It may be a little bit off, but using a map of Oregon and the map of the gravity falls version of Oregon, I found a relative location of Gravity Falls. If that statue is real, it's somewhere in that green shape.
From the Gravity Falls, Oregon page on the Gravity Falls wiki:

• In the episode "Scary-oke," the agents pinpoint the source of the disturbance they monitored as being in Gravity Falls. The indicator on the monitor for the town shows it is located approximately along Highway 20 in Malheur County, Oregon, somewhere west of Vale.
• The indicator shown at the beginning of "Scary-oke" that pinpoints Gravity Falls' location is different than the location shown on the map of Oregon that was previously released. In the original map it shows that Gravity Falls is in the center of Oregon, however, the government agents pinpoint a location on the eastern edge of Oregon. [This makes my previous map null]
• If you search "Gravity Falls, Oregon" on Google Maps, it will direct you to the Oregon Vortex.

So, where is the area that contains what would be Gravity Falls?

EDIT: We need to search the episode for clues, since it could be anywhere in Oregon.

Actually, bill says Axlotl, it was the key to the cipher at the end of the credits i think.

and that phrase was found from the bus seat cipher.

People are starting to think that the bill statue is either at the real life mystery shack, the Shack of Mystery, or the Oregon Vortex. And notice how it says statues, not statue.

Honestly think that's just a coincidence. I can definitely hear an A every single time, and Axolotls apparently have regenerative properties.
