I understand if you only post the video and nothing more, but if its a legit post(like long with good contest in it) on someone who found a nice easteregg after everyone. And then i see no reason why you can't add it in a post.
I am not against it though, I just want to know why.

 

Because when someone posts a thread about an easter egg that's already known, instead of posting "Wow, good job!", people were basically saying "fuck you for finding a secret you never knew about" by posting that video.

 

I notice that it isn't against the rules to make fake threads in the shoutbox (using the blue text to make it look like a thread was made but it's really just blue text)

 

Well if done repeatedly it could be a form of spam as everytime someone does that it's pretty much just a block of text as useful as 100 "!"s.

 

Ironic, when I suggested this almost 2 years ago and I was bashed and overlooked. lol
With a broad list of rules, I hope there are no longer unfair bans where moderators ban players without players even having access to the rules implied.

I obtained gold nuggets when pigmans were still dropping them (before quest update) and cacti because I tried to sit on every cactus in Wynn (aand I found that it dropped in one place...). It wasn't really abusing a glitch. At least not abusing it...

Please explain "Giveaways": im still not understanding the rule description.

Giveaways are where they put your name into some sort of pool, and then draw names to see who to give the emeralds. Or some sort of quiz...etc.

 

I could have overlooked it in-game, but how would players in-game be fully notified of these updated rules if they don't subscribe to forums? I don't get around much in the hub/lobby... first time i played, a friend just walked me right into a world to start playing. Thnks

 

AMA means "ask me anything", like a thread where you can ask a GM (for example Abandonedbank) everything you like. They are particular interesting when it's a GM or Builder, not a generic normal player.

And as for Giveaways, what is there not to understand. You can do giveaways when the thing you're giving away is not something like a banned item

Usually you should educate yourself about the rules of a server you are playing on. Sure, it doesn't stop you from hacking/not following the rules, but it's your own fault if you don't check the rules and it's updates from time to time.
Ignorance does not protect against punishment

e.: Speaking of it, maybe that should be included in the rules like as a last point, that the player is responsible for following rule updates and checking them regular themselves.

 

So ingame win-the-answer quizzes, as long as its not a name-drawing lottery, are ok?

No having a pool of money given to enter a giveaway is not allowed. You also cannot have a giveaway that gives less than 32 EBs.

 

Is 'bumping' still allowed in the trade market if your shop is on the 3rd page in an hour? xD

If you obtained them through glitches then not allowed. If they are an old item from in-game and are not vanilla then it is fine. Either way, you'd end up wanting to throw them out in the future because they take up precious space that you'd need.
