Media Toa Floor 6 Boss

We have found that the updated Floor 6 Boss in ToA is a little broke

 

I'm really starting to think that Chained Beast and Alkevo are the new Deaths...

 

Basically

 

I did it with my assassin friend for fun but it was fine to kill.... is it just chance?

 

It wasnt regen that was the problem, it was the fact that he kamakazied us as soon as he saw us, making him impossible to kill.

Edit: Oh you were talking about the sponge, not the kamakazi, sorry.

xD Yep, He was easier like 1 week ago

 

He was always like that. He's killable if you have a decent build and some patience. If the problem is that he auto-suicides it can be sorted if you just go to the entrance to the room and press yourself against the wall and change servers until he doesn't use his spell straight away.
If you can't kill him due to you not being able to deal enough damage in time, I found that I could solo him with 9k dmg meteors casted about every 5 seconds, which adds up to around 2500dmg/s.

 

anyways who was the guy who thought it was a good idea to create a boss that kills itself

 

I dont know what problems you guys all have with him suiciding... I got through him first try with archer solo :/

 

Howdy! Alkevö is nothing hard if you have got DETERMINATED team :)

 

PLEASE PPLE. WHEN U SPAWN STAY AFK FOR 20 SEC AND DONT LET IT AGRO U THEN START KILLING HIM. 100 percent works this is how i beat him

 

That was how he worked BEFORE, as of now, no matter as far as you are (we were waiting by the back wall of the room) he will ALWAYS teleport straight to you. We spent half an hour doing this, it was the same result everytime. He used to not 2 weeks ago, but they must've updated him.

Still what monster of a gm thought a suicidal boss is a good idea?

 

It took me a while to defeat him, but I did. If you're a Mage, then just slow him down and spam the meteors, just don't let him get close to you.

 

That moment when you have 31 from death and 24 from this guy ;3

 

I soloed him yesterday, using exactly the strategy I told you (oh yeah, standing on top of the sign helps as he can't hit you)

 

It fills you with Detemmienation.

Alkevö only kills himself when you go near him ;d

 

Go against the very back wall, in the place where you spawn. Wait for him to spawn and cast his spell. If he casts while unaggroed, he won't blow up. You're now free to go and kill him. Be careful though, he will be able to recast if you don't kill him in time.
