The main reason the characters in A Nightmare Before Christmas are so creepy and Frankenstein-y is because the artists for the movie drew with their non-dominate hands.

Jack Skellington's model for A Nightmare Before Christmas had 23 different heads, each with 11 different facial expressions, not including those animated while he was blinking.

And the chickens are the closest being to them, but I'm not sure about that one

Next up, most dinosaurs had feathers (raptors and related dinos had bird-like pennaceous feathers covering most of their body except the end of the snout, giving a beak-like appearance (And they had 'wings', most likely used like ostriches today use them, and a tail fan, like modern birds), tyrannosaurs had fur-like feathers or downy feathers (some like T-Rex probably had less of them due to the more hot environments they lived in compared to yutyrannus and such), and ornithischians had quill-like bristles)!
I love feathers!

I've written at least 5 stories, one of which I'm hoping to publish as a book.
Although, my multitude of work-in-progress stories is causing me to not know which ones to work on next, and thus I'm not getting any work done on them.

 

Tomorrow (Friday the 12th) is Darwin Day.

 

fact: it's possible to draw user Labyrinth Draws (FNS)'s "crossed triple spirals" in one line motion, though it's a bit sloppy if done in one line

1. start at the center of the triple spirals
2. from the point of origin, create the first spiral by working outside in from the left side of the origin point
3. once you're too close to your lines to make another spiral, cut across your line and straight through the point of origin
repeat steps 2 and 3 to complete the other 2 spirals
4. once the last spiral is complete, cut through the point of origin one more time to connect the finishing line to the starting line
