can someone tell me when EXACTLY clock boots were released ?
i mean the whole set and its merchant ?

 

I would assume when gavel was released and the clock Easter eggs were implemented in then.

 

so we could buy the clock set directly when gavel released....? i thought the clock merchant got released later

 

I think it should've been released then with the clock mystery, as they don't have a set time when people would figure it out. And I'm pretty sure I found a broken clock in either the first gavel release or after one map push.

Not really easter eggs anymore cause people linked images of their locations on the forums.

I believe the clocks were always there since Gavel, but after a patch or two the merchant was edited somehow (fixed? I remember reading something along the lines of this :3)

Here's the post where Salted said that "The Clock Merchant now spawns", I haven't seen any other posts regarding the Clock Set or the merchant.

 

Yeah, as @NickMC96 said, they were released the same day that patch released ^ (aka 5th of January)

 

As the maker of the clock secret, I can confirm that the clock secret and everything except for the merchant was there since the first day of Gavel. I tested it on the first day and fixed all the bugs I found.
Then, I had to spam Salted to make the clock set. He didn't do it for the Gavel release because "no one told me to" (even tho we did lol). So as @NickMC96 said, he added it in that small update.

 

I don't know why but this makes me cringe so hard xD
