Before I even begin I have to say a few things. First and foremost thank you to @SAIFv0 for all you did. Saif was grinding in ToL for xp and loot while talking to me at the same time I was doing all my info gathering. I bounced ideas off of him and what not and he was a great help altogether (oh and I still have that jester necklace)

I also have no idea how I am going to fit this into the character limit, so more stuff may be in the comments. This ain't a theory, this is more of a "you thought we did not know anything about dragons? This is what we know about dragons". Also you have no idea how hard it was to not call this thread "imagine dragons"

    So, let's begin

    -------------------o-----------------

Our topic of study being the dragon. Scientific name of Holyshat itsgonnakillme. Name sometimes shortened to "drake".

Dragons have multiple stages of growth. We only know a few, but we know there are many many stages. Stages with a "*" after them are given by me. Stages without that symbol are canon.

    • Egg
    • Hatchling
    • Baby
    • Dragonling
    • Draconian*
    • Young*
    • Pre-Dragon*
    • Dragon
    • Aged*
    • Old*
    • Elder*
Here are what we know about each of the canon stages:

Most Dragon Eggs are white and smooth. Some eggs are oddly shaped (see Other Organisms) but most are white and round. They are relatively flat and laid in a next of large sticks, leaves, and twigs. At least for the dragon. They would be whole trees for us.

Hatchlings are smaller than one meter (block) in hight, length, and width. They fly and have their elemental breath attacks already (See Elemental Dragons)

Baby Dragons are strange in state, because they loose their wings at this stage. They are now stick to the ground. They are about the size of a human.

Dragonlings grow their wings back, but still have trouble flying. No breath attack has been seen at this stage.

Dragons are massive, have wings, breath, the ability to fly, and what not.

    -------------------

The lify cycle of a dragon.

Dragons are like snakes. They never stop growing. Meaning an elder dragon is giant. The biggest full specimen I have seen was longer than Detlas. Fragments however suggest dragons at least the length of Ragni (going north to south).

From what I have seen I believe it is impossible for dragons to die naturally. All the dragon bones I have seen suggest death via un-natural causes. The largest in-tact specimen I have seen was a very powerful elder ice dragon. It died breathing ice, creating what is not known as the ice cave in the molten heights.

    ---------------------

    Dragon bones.

Dragon bones at magical, even after the dragon's death. Dragon bone shave been shown to fragment and come to life, attacking anyone who comes near. Other bones have been shown to turn into the substance that surrounds them. Giant bones embedded in rock get turned to the rock around them.

    ------------------------

    Elemental Dragons.

Dragons have been found to have different elements, and each element has a different breath attack.

    Ice: Shotgun shape ice breath
Water: Shotgun shaped sharp projectile (arrows)
    Fire: Shoots fireballs
    Ender: No Breath Attack Seen
    Amethyst: No Breath Attack Seen
    Crystal: No Breath Attack Seen
(Possible) Life: Bringing things to life?
    Sapphire: No Breath Attack Seen
Golden: No Breath Attack Seen (Nuetral Aggression)
    Emerald: No Breath Attack Seen
    Black: No Breath Attack Seen
    White: No Breath Attack Seen

(Note: Blacks and Whites are extremely chaotic, they will even attack themselves)

    -----------------------

    Specific Dragons to note:

Ozoth: Ozoth rests upon her spire on Thanos. She is a fire dragon and repeatedly attacks the dwarven city. Had a mate that was killed by the dwarves. May have attacked Detlas.

Ender Dragon: Unknown dragon that was mentioned by a keeper of the Temple Of Legends. May have attacked Detlas.

Unnamed Ice Dragon: This powerful dragon's bone structure is fully intact, and tells us much about Dragons' life cycle. Was probobly killed in a battle. Used ice breath. Was super effective. Caused creation of the ice cave. That is why the ice cave does not melt, its magic. Also causes some of the ice and stone to come alive. Possible life dragon as well? Made frozen stone golems, frozen guards, and other things.

    ------------------------

    Other Organisms:

There are some various other species that are linked to dragons, but are not dragons themselves.

Phoenixes: A lone phoenix can be found guarding a next of fire drake eggs and hatchlings. The phoenix has a flame-thrower type breath attack. There are apparently more Phoenixes around Ozoth's Spire.

Roc?: In a burned cave in the sky islands you can find a next of straw, with giant eggs. Unlike dragon eggs they are tall and colored and dotted. Possible Roc eggs?

Big Phoenix: Other giant eggs can be found on top of the molten heights, and are believed to be of a Phoenix. However any bird like that would be much larger than the Lone Phoenix takes about earlier.

The Beast Of Dead Island: After comparing the bone structures, I can confirm this beast is not a dragon. It's skull is flatted in the front, and it's body resembles a Giant Serpent. No legs nor wings. It came from a small black egg and laid a new one soon after.

    ------------------------

    Dragon Geography:

The sky islands have Dragonlings in the north side, and dragon bones can be found in a cave to the south. The dragon seems to be a smaller specimen. Same size or Smaller than Ozoth.

Dragon bones of the same size can be found on top of the Molten heights. This suggested to me at first that Dragons were born in the sky islands and migrated to the molten heights where they died.

The entire molten heights is a giant dragon graveyard. Essence-changed bones stick out of the walls, and bones and ribcages and what not can be found all over. This suggested that Dragons came here when they died. But I have found baby dragons and hatchlings in the molten heights as well, which presented a puzzle.

I would say most dragons are born and live in the molten heights. They can sometimes find a way on top of the molten heights or to the sky islands, but most live and die in the molten heights.

    -----------------------

    Dragon Taming:

Upon entering the molten heights you are greeted with a small church, housing a Priestess of the Fire Lore

Inside you can find Dragon Food. A bone.

Due to this I am willing to bet that with the right magic, Dragons can be treated like dogs. They can be given bones, and in return they become your pet.

    -----------------------

    Dragon Mysteries:

This researcher is still not sure of how all the dragons died out. I assume the dwarves killed them. We also do not know how dragons came to be. The molten heights were not molten before the Decay. Decay caused the molten heights to explode. This suggests to me that the Dragons were living in the mountains, and the explosions killed out most of the dragons, causing the molten heights to become the graveyard it is.

We also know not all dragons come from eggs. Ozoth is believed to come right from the lava of the heights. We have seen Baby Water dragons come right from water pools, not from eggs. This will help the Dragons re-populate from their fallen numbers.

    ----------------------

This research article is incomplete. This researcher will be doing more poking around the molten heights and sky islands and add more as he can.

    Feel free to comment.

Maybe dragons could be a special mount you get at level 100?
Kind of a silly idea ik but it could be cool,
Server lag would suck tho but still i wish dragons were more implemented into wynncraft as in the form of a powerful boss or other

In the part where you talked about the dragon eggs, were you making those assumptions based off of the eggs on top of Molten Heights? If so, those are phoenix eggs, not dragon eggs.
