Cowfusion Issue

So today I was doing the lvl 86 quest Cowfusion. Everything was going fine and I was progressing through the quest normally, but then I ran into a massive issue. After leaving the secret cow layer and heading into the cave there is a part where the quest book just says "wait". You're in a room with a cow in some sort of science chamber thing and the mage is standing off to the left. You're surrounded by invisible blocks and you're apparently supposed to wait for something to happen, but I stood in that room for over 10 minutes and nothing happened. Eventually I just did /kill because I couldn't use scrolls to get out. I then went back to see if it would work and still, stood around for 10 more minutes and the quest book doesn't update, it still just says "wait".

Has anyone else run into this issue or know a solution to it?

 

Idk but that part and other parts were enspired by Salted, so we can blame him for this issue.

 

Not sure why this issue is happening but it should hopefully be fixed next map push. In the meantime just do /kill and try going through all over again.

I think Salted did less for that quest than Obama did. (That's right, I stole his joke)

I appreciate the feedback but I already tried /kill and going back to the quest location. Spent another 10 minutes sitting in there thinking that maybe, just maybe, it would trigger a quest book update. Unfortunately it didn't. It really sucks because I'm lvl 87, this quest rewards 825k exp which would be a good chunk of my level, and I can use my new weapon when I get to lvl 88. Guess I'll have to do Beyond the Grave instead and then just grind through the rest of the level.

 

Ok I did some looking on GitHub and apparently this is a known issue and GMs are working on fixing it. Just thought I'd post that here in case anyone else ran into this issue recently.
