id like this, if it wasnt for the mana regen ;-; its kinda bad at 3/4 and 2/2 mana steal, but whatever, there will be a better mage build some day... and hopefully by dern, 20/4 mana regen item, and i wouldnt mind using one of ur builds then.

Oh by the way with the hive wand you have 6/4 mana regen and 4/2 mana steal, if it helps

 

okay, its better... but i rather not, because of the air mythic wand, if its bad then i hive wand is better.

This uses ethereal/lunar spine as a replacement for hive wand.

yeah ik, but theres going to be a mythic air wand, all 5 wands have been found of all elements, expect air, im juts here waiting for the air mythic wand.

 

The thing with pure is that me and my friend did some testing with it (350 % spell damage) and we could only manage to squeeze out 8 k damage meteors from it, even with third eye/ memento / soul signal / greaves of desolation + full jester and, though I'd assume a 500% + spell damage pure would do a lot more, the approx min damage that my friend did was 12 k ( with fatal ) and that was if he was unlucky considering his dexterity was maxed out ( had about 75 - 80% chance for double damage)

 

A friend of mine, Laelia using my old 512% pure told me she hit 20,000 damage xD it is possible she exaggerated.

So, this build trumps mythics?

Why not try this one in the meantime? Essentially any wand with a fast attack speed will work well

 

Well, with pure and clock boots it would be waaay stronger

 

Nope actually. I dealt less with pure than I did with ethereal, a major reason why I sold my pure in the first place

 

Hm, then maybe the increase of neutral and base damage trumps the 500% spell damage. Would make sense, it may just over exaggerated. Something with hive wand would destroy though, cant wait to see this with it!

Update: this build works for any class extremely well..

 

Well yeah, that's the problem with this item system, one build on a class works for all

 

It's fine that it fits every class, I'm just surprised at how well
