Nope , it doesn't mean that . It means selchar was still being built 40 years ago (but was a city back then aswell) and i'm guessing it even existed like 90-60 years ago , which makes everything said in sister city , in the item's lore and in chraftmas chaos possible .

We dont have evidence that it was built 60-90 years ago! We only have evidence it was being built 40 years ago.

Another thing, if the guy when he was a little kid said he was 10, and he lived in Selchar his entire life, that's still only 50 years old.

Why do you think they were partially built? We have no evidence that selchar and some main buildings in it(like the hour glass which later became the inspiration of detlas ) weren't built 60 or more years ago we only know that some buildings were still being built 30 years ago and thus there is no inconsistency. You are wrong so just accept it dude. Also @SPYROHAWK what do you think about this?

Keep in mind about the Time Door...

It could be used for time travel, they could have travelled to the future with the Door and saw a town named Selchar, so they wanted to create it in the present but they created Detlas.

No, ALL of Selchar was the inspiration for ALL of Detlas according to sister city. Now you're making less sense because then a barren "city" with an hourglass for Wynn Province's most major trading city? That's just ludicrous... :/

Well I was thinking and with the new timeline Detlas is at most 100 years old, so that's still over 60.

I think the big problem is that fact that we changed timelines. Sister City was made when the timeline said Detlas was built in the last 10 years, whereas the new lore says in the last 100.

    ---

And I don't see the problem in the item one jpm

    -Edit-

Oh I see. One is British spelling one is American spelling

Oh and I just went back again to read this thread and I found out you were being stupid.

So we know Selchar was built 30 years ago because in Christmas Chaos you go back in time to Selchar 30 years in the past, and it is just starting to be built. You can go walk around and what not, nothing is like actually built. Not even the bovemists church!

So that has a definitive timeline of 30 years. Detlas has a timeline of 60-100 years (exact dates unknown) and we know this from the wand

So is Detlas is based off of Selchar like it says in Sister City, no, it can't work. Sister city was made when the Detlas timeline was 10 years, and has not been changed to the current timeline

Ok, so we can raise the max to 40 years. Still not older than the minimum age for Detlas

Exactly. Even if he said he lived there his whole life, and he's 10, it would raise it to 50.

It wouldn't raise the max you noobs , it would raise the minimum and since it was a city 40 years ago when most of the buildings weren't built you have no proof it didn't exist and wasn't a city 60 years ago, you both are ignoring some facts and basing your theories on speculations.

Are you listening to yourself? At -30 Selchar was being built

At -40 Tom was born, but he could have been born somewhere else.

No matter what, you don't go further back than -40, and Detlas is at least -60

That's bullshit Tom lived there his whole life , I have evidence to back my statements up , you have speculation. I have proof selchar existed 40 years ago , 40 years is not the maximum it's the minimum so unless you can PROVE it didn't exist 60 years ago with all due respect stfu.
"No matter what, you don't go further back than -40,"
Prove that , that statement is based off of nothing. You sre basically saying selchar started building 40 years ago yet you have no proof to back that up.

Saying you have facts is good an all, but can you please present those facts in a meaningful concise reply? I am 100% sure I can make a counter-argument, but I find it will be easier for us all that way.

And then we can actually have a meaningful conversation
