Maybe they're immortal .It ain't like wynncraft doesn't have immortal characters or holy flippin' water or spells that grant you immortality .

 

What if Detlas had a founding building that was struck by lightning. After that, the builders gave up on the city. After 30 years, they decided to continue and take inspiration from Selchar?

The only things that really grant immortality are the two known fountains of youth, and a hanndful of spells that are pretty risky. But during Craftmas Chaos, the guy is really old in just 30 years. He gets to age 60 and hes pretty frail. I dont think he has immortality if it only gives another like 20 years.

This city was built on trade with the villagers, the villagers would never put trade on hold. The almost left Wynn to ruins because they had no money.

 

Don't remember what quest it was , but you needed to get something to save a kid's grandpa and it ended up extending his life expectancy so the guy could have used that aswell . But anyway those spells and youth fountains are said to give immortality they probably don't stop aging though I imagine at some point you can't age anymore.

That was the Wynn fountain of youth. It depends on the dosage. But you need special vials to carry it, and youd need a lot of fountain juice to last a couple decades.

 

Maybe the guy bathes in that stuff , idk.

 

But how would he get it to Selchar?

 

Oh ma gawd . My point is he MAY be immortal and the lore might be correct after all .

 

The Detlas area was probably just a settlement (Keywords: "Founding building") back when the lightning hit, and was expanded into a city more recently.

 

Why wouldnt they have named the settlement? Throughout history IRL a settlement has always been named when its made.

 

But the lore cant be correct because 30 years ago, Selchar was built. Selchar was the inspiration of Detlas, built 60 years ago. All the jesus juice being pumped from the ground in Wynn and Gavel cant explain that yo.

Selchar was built 30 years ago. Detlas was built at least 60 years ago. Yet Selchar somehow was the inspiration of Detlas. Also, for a city like Detlas, it could take 30 years.

 

The sand in detlas's hourglass doesn't move at all, the sand in selchar's hourglass is always moving and leaking out. Maybe time travels slower in detlas?

 

I was thinking more like how stable the city is. Detlas' sand is running out (maybe something will happen to the city?) while Selchars is exploding out (something unnatural is gonna shatter the city, aka Corrupt Santa)

Chraftmas chaos never said anything about selchar being built 30 years ago , actually according to it , selchar was built more than 40 years ago.

 

but you travel back in time and you see young Tom when Selchar is still being built. that means it was still being built around 40 years ago.

 

Which means selselchar may have been a very small city like maybe 90-60 years ago and then they started adding to it
