Guide Gale & Ohms: Official Information Thread

this cave was here before the update and the tomb is not here :p

 

That is a destroyed ship-thing in the Ice Canyon near Lusuco, with a secret door. Sadly, I, and others, have not found Gale's Tomb there.

The level of map-rendering and mod-coding to do something like that would be incredible, and almost assuredly against server policy. We have listed off high places before, but that really hasn't gotten us anywhere. I think a good idea is just to keep on searching.

 

Ok my friends, so as you know, I love to explore the top of waterfalls and today I just found that !

Well I just read this threat front to back- only took me 2 days... Still processing a lot of the info, and still only a lvl 76 archer, but ill keep an eye out... It was stated that it was in a place that people pass by often right? So I think ill keep an eye out on my common travels instead of on a hunt- don't give up yet guys, and don't ask for more hints :P

We've got enough to work with!

 

You know, what if Ohms killed Gale? Ohms died after Gale, and there is an item called "Ohm's Rage"... maybe just a coincidence?

 

Ohms' Rage is a reference to his anger at the cursing of his favourite golem, from what I can tell.
Of course, nobody said that said golem didn't kill Gale.

 

I'll search around Olux and Llevigar, and once I get back to Wynn for WynnExcavation, I'll be sure to search the Troms Jungle.

 

Is the map update push for 14.0.8?

 

ya know, its probably gonna be on a 64 block high sponge pillar in the yayha dimension

 

I've confirmed that it is not in other realms, and despite the fact that the 'trip realm' is just the Light Forest seen through the eyes of a hallucinating person, I consider it another realm and have discluded it from the search.

 

wait just 64 blocks or higher? what does "very high up" mean?

 

65y is sea level. Anywhere "significantly higher."

Selvut, have you (or could you) confirmed that the tomb is not located in quest instance areas (ex. The underground city in Wynn Ex D or the various stages of the mansion in Memory Paranoia)

 

That's because a bunch of the replies on this thread are posts like this- posts that don't contribute anything. I don't mean to be rude (and I acknowledge that my post also falls into the category of not contributing) but these kinds of replies are useless when it comes to this topic and a lot of this thread is filled with objectively useless posts.
