    Assassin can do huge damage and easy to survive. But, he needs crazy good gear, and even if he does, his damage doesnt really stand out compare to the other classes.

    Endgame multihit deals 4k while endgame meteor can do 13k. Dont forget the damage stat in assassin description is 5 and mage is 3.

    Dont use smoke bomb to argue with me, this spell doesnt make sense at all, youre telling me the highest damage spell of a close range class is a long range spell.
    Mage can put their focus on only these 2 parts, damage output and mana regen as he got really high int stat and he got heal, he doesnt really need to care about health regen, health steal and mana steal, so his damage is crazily high.

    On the other hand, assassin need to consider mana steal, mana regen, health steal, health regen, poison and damage. Spreading out his power into all these parts just make him weak and vulnerable. Mage spell is already low mana cost originally, not to mention most mages got max int, making him almost impossible to run out of mana, however assassin on the other hand need a lot of mana on all his spells, especially vanish.

    After he vanish, it only takes a few seconds until he run out of mana, he could not even use a spell, he cant even sprint when he unvanish, not to mention all those mana needed to activate other spells.

    you may argue "you can get mana steal". Look ive said already, each character can only have 8 gear and 1 weapon, classes like mage can focus on element dmg on his weapon, spell dmg on his accessories and mana regen on his armour, making all 3 aspects really strong. For assassin, well, you need to spread those 9 items among all those different aspect you need to improve in order to be stronger, making him over all much weaker.
    Yes, you can have mana steal, but in order to make mana steal effective, you at least need all 4 accessories slot only for mana steal instead of spell dmg like what mage did. Look at that difference, i mean, 4 jester items?

    You may also argue that assassin got 20% higher armour value than mage. Look, mage can simply heal when he get low, you may argue "assassin cam health steal too". i have said that already, you dont have enough item slot to buff your health steal, you need to buff other aspects like spell damage, mana steal, mama regen, poison, health regen, walk speed etc.

    Some of you may still argue "mage was bad for so long assassin is only bad for so short stop complaining"
    and i am going to use this simile i have used before -- being a generous person for 10 years doesnt give you the permission to be a murderer for a day.


    TL;Dr: Buff assassin and stop arguing he is suppose to get a giant buff

    i agree 100% every time im low i vanish to get out, and once i unvanish im left with no mana to spring or use spells leading me to death

    It is purely build based, I can pull out more damage than 5k per multi-hit, but at the cost of ridiculous amounts of stats, health, elemental defenses, hp regen, mana regen, life steal, and pretty much every essential defensive thing in the game. I am forced to play as a super glass cannon, only to end up having slightly better damage than a archer, or mage.

    your statement is wrong. you give up everything not to get better dmg than mage or archer, but instead get closer to the damage they deal

    No, I've plugged in the numbers, mages and archers don't need high damage equipment, so they don't use it as much as us assassins. With smoke bomb and multi-hit combo I completely overwhelm a mage's damage.

    Of course, for a "5/5" damaging class it should not have to be forced to have extremely powerful damaging equipment to be slightly better than archer or mage.

    Alright then, let's see how my build stacks up.

    Influence is my main weapon; I only ever use Scalpel to take advantage of my ridiculously high emerald stealing while grinding. Influence is my main damage dealer. Also of note is that the Outlaw Set's bonus thunder damage is not appearing; it should have +7% bonus thunder damage as I'm wearing three pieces. I also have no idea where I'm getting any of my Fire, Air, Water, or Earth defense from, but for the level, and especially considering it's a build based off of agility and dexterity and the fct that I'm using a 17-levels-old legendary that in of itself has low health, that's a quite sturdy amount.

    At base, it deals 81-99 damage(this is what spell damage works off of). Factoring in the Melee damage buffs and debuffs, it needs a 6% increase(86-105) then we add 3 for our total base damage(89-108, 99 average). This is how much damage I deal per hit with my basic attack, and I can hit 1.8 times per second. Fairly strong.

    I have no spell damage boosts, so the only thing happening is the normal spell boost plus the attack speed boost(1.8x). Spin Attack deals 200% damage and transfers 35% of that damage into Thunder, so Spin Attack deals 162-198 damage total, with 57-70 of that damage being Thunder. However, we need to multiply that value by another 80% due to attack speed, so the actual total is 292-356 damage, with 102-125 of that damage being Thunder. But we still haven't factored in my bonus Thunder damage, which turns out to a 52.5% boost thanks to both Bonus Thunder Damage and Dexterity, so Spin Attack deals 190-221 Neutral damage and 156-191 thunder damage, totalling 346-412 damage, and averaging 379 damage.<to be continued>
